I would recommend this game for 12 and up.
Vader Immortal is a fun experience. The graphics are great and the story feels at home as a side narrative in the Star Wars universe. The gameplay is more restrictive than I would have liked, but using the lightsaber and the force never stops being cool.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is a series of three virtual reality adventure games originally released on May 21, September 25, and November 21, 2019, respectively, for the Oculus Quest and Rift systems.
Gameplay and the VR Experience
While the description of the game specified that this can be played seated, standing or at room scale there is no way we can recommend playing anything other than room scale. You don't want to be swinging a lightsaber around from a chair or standing still.
When focusing on the main objectives, Vader Immortal: Episode I is about 52 Mins in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 3½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.
And here, that's not an insult. Vader Immortal is a short-form narrative VR game for the Oculus Quest and Rift headsets, written by screenwriter David S. Goyer. It's composed of three episodes, each of which lasts less than an hour, although there's a non-narrative “lightsaber dojo” for long-term play.
How do I explore? If you're like us, the first thing you want to do when you find yourself inside a Star Wars adventure is to take a look around. In Vader Immortal, you can simply do that with your own two feet.
When you throw the lightsaber, it will follow a single trajectory as it travels away from you. However, it will adjust its path to return to your hand. Try steering the saber through unsuspecting enemies, as the weapon comes back to you.
Here, the action takes place inside a custom dojo that offers players dual-wielding, dual-bladed lightsabers, blasters, and Force lightning to engage in combat against stormtroopers and droids before Darth Vader makes his entrance for the final challenge.
The main story of Vader Immortal only lasts about 30-45 minutes, depending on how quickly you move through it. After you complete the story, there is little reason to return to it other than to relive the same story again.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
Vader Immortal I is played with the Meta Quest 2 which is some of the latest technology in wireless VR for multiplayer, free roam games. This enables the player to move around freely in the area, which adds to the immersive experience, which is what VR is all about!
↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series to 1 BBY.
Canonically, the character is supposed to be 6 feet, 8 inches tall, but he looked shorter than me when I went one-on-one with him, even though I'm 8 inches shorter than him in real life — something Quest is capable of knowing from its 3D mapping system.
Darth Vader's greatest power is not in his ability to hurl heavy objects at Luke Skywalker with the force. His power lies in his unquestioning belief that he deserves to be the leader. That kind of power inspires people to follow, and it is a big part of what makes Vader so irresistible to audiences.

Once you kill 50 enemies, you will temporarily gain Force lightning, which you must hold the Force button to use. The lightning will automatically target an enemy your hand is pointing near, then stun and rapidly kill any target it is used on regardless of health.
Darth Vader's armor, also known as Darth Vader's suit, was a suit of armor worn by the cyborg Sith Lord Darth Vader. Designed with life support technology, the armor ensured Vader's survival following the lightsaber and burn injuries that he sustained in a duel with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar.
"We've added a number of new iconic hilts, like Luke's saber from Return of the Jedi and Kylo Ren's crossguard lightsaber. For the first time in the Dojo we are also allowing fans to dual-wield lightsabers, brandish Darth Maul's double-bladed lightsaber, and even shoot blasters.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is a cinematic, interactive experience that lets you step inside a galaxy far, far away and into the role of a smuggler operating near Mustafar, the fiery planet that Darth Vader calls home.
Darth Vader used both the Force Choke and Force Crush abilities numerous times throughout his life. He was also capable of using the Force to telekinetically destroy a target's internal organs. Telepathy: The Sith-Lord could use Telepathy, such as when he communicated with his son shortly after their duel on Bespin.
Vader's presence struck fear into almost everyone he came across, and a large part of that was due to his strength. His first kill in the franchise was when he held Captain Antilles, choking him on the Tantive IV in A New Hope. Strangulation, and more specifically the Force choke, became a go-to move for the Dark Lord.
According to this Wookieepedia page, Vader's armor is made from fireproof materials such as Durasteel, Plasteel, Armorweave, and Plastoid, and the body glove is expressly described as fireproof. How did Luke cremate a corpse fully encased in fire-retardant armor?
Darth Vader Has Claustrophobia
In addition to causing content pain and itchiness, the suit is so constricting that it causes him to suffer from claustrophobia. He can only find relief by meditating in specially-constructed pressurized chambers where he can temporarily take off his suit and survive.
Through a Sith portal, Darth Vader's Jedi past was laid before his eyes. After Vader defeated Momin, Vader was able to open the portal. As he entered the portal, Vader's soul left his body.
