Cynthia, portrayed by Stefanie Butler, is a minor character in the first season of Stranger Things. She is the current girlfriend of Lonnie Byers.
Will's Father Called Him “Queer”
During the first season of Stranger Things, Joyce tells Jim Hopper (David Harbour) that her ex-husband, Lonnie Byers (Ross Partridge) used to call Will “queer” when he was younger. She says, “Lonnie used to say he was queer.
Jim Hopper — Not Will's Dad
He helped retrieve Will from the dark world and save his life. However, he's just an old friend of Joyce's (played by Winona Ryder), and not Will's father. He actually had a daughter of his own who died of cancer, which might be why he has such paternal instincts toward Will.
Hopper was married to Diane and they had a daughter together, Sara. They divorced after his young daughter died of cancer, which caused him to lapse into alcohol and drug addiction to numb his grief. For a few years after Sara's death, he was a homicide detective in New York City before moving back to Hawkins.
It is implied that Lonnie may have been unfaithful or even physically abusive to Joyce during their marriage, though the details of that era have not yet been explored on the show.
In 1984, Will Byers, a rescued victim of the Demogorgon, became a vessel for the Mind Flayer. Will's possession allowed Vecna and the Mind Flayer to unleash a horde of adolescent Demogorgons, or 'Demodogs', upon Hawkins National Laboratory.
Brenner has no supernatural powers of his own — just the good old powers of manipulation. He's excellent at psychologically manipulating Eleven for his own ends. That manipulative behavior seems to indicate that, lacking powers of his own, he needs her power to keep pursuing his goals with the Upside Down and One.
Lonnie is “Cooked”, Joyce's maternal instincts are “Raw”
Lonnie tells Jonathan to take down an “offensive” The Evil Dead poster on the wall (so much there, but we'll move on) and later hammers up boards concealing the hole Joyce chopped out with the wood axe in the previous episode.
Given Joyce's status as a single-mom who works full-time and doesn't have a lot of money, it's likely she just never bothered to change her name back to her maiden name since it would be too much of a hassle for her. Joyce may or may not have also had a really bad relationship with her parents.
Personality. Troy appeared to enjoy tormenting and bullying other people, especially Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, Dustin Henderson and Will Byers. He did not appeared to be a very remorseful or caring person, as revealed by his countless remarks about Will's disappearance and fake death.
Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven)
Pretending to be in mourning, Joyce later found in Lonnie's wallet a flyer for a lawsuit for accidental death or injury, realizing that Lonnie was only there to sue the quarry's company to get money.
It was symbolic that Stranger Things' Jonathan was taking photographs from the shadows as if he was truly on the outside looking in. Rather than explain this isolated feeling to Nancy, he used the notion that he was a creep since he felt she wouldn't understand.
"Chapter Four: The Body" is the fourth episode of Stranger Things and the fourth episode of the first season.
Brenner. He shows genuine concern for Eleven in the flashbacks to her past trauma, and a large part of the reason that he attempted to keep her in the bunker was because he was concerned that she was not strong enough to confront Vecna, thus cementing her death if she attempted to confront him at that time. Dr.
Jamie Campbell Bower plays 001 in Stranger Things 4.
He gets punished with electrocution after telling Eleven that Dr. Brenner lied to her about her mother dying during childbirth.
"The theory is that Brenner knew that none of the kids, numbers Two through Ten, were as strong as number One. So, Dr. Brenner waited for One to get older to make him breed with Terry Ives to create Eleven—to make sure that she was the strongest, and clearly, she is." Yep.
Using past traumas to break down his victims, Vecna brought Nancy to the pool where Barb was killed by the Demogorgon and revealed her mangled corpse. Vecna then taunted Nancy with her own feelings of guilt - that she was responsible for Barb's death and had forgotten about her.
Vecna was the one who originally kidnapped Will in season 1.
The theory predicts that Vecna wants to regain his human form, and he will use Will to do so in Season 5. Knowing that Vecna singled out Will in Season 1, it's a reasonable theory, but it might go too far. After all, Vecna already has a human form, and he has vowed to eliminate humanity.
Nancy Wheeler is a fictional character from the Netflix television show Stranger Things, portrayed by American actress Natalia Dyer. She is the sister of Mike Wheeler, the girlfriend of Jonathan Byers, and the ex-girlfriend of Steve Harrington.
On April 21, 2023 Joyce and husband Juancho Trivino welcomed their daughter Agnes Eleanor or Aggie.
Background. At some point, Dmitri "Enzo" Antonov mailed Joyce Byers the package containing the Russian doll to inform her that he and Yuri Ismaylov were willing to work together to return Hopper to the United States for $20,000.
Hopper wakes up in his trailer, his table covered in pills and alcohol. He tears his trailer apart and finds a bug in his overhead light. Martin Brenner listens to a recording of the boys listening to Will and realizes Eleven was with them.
