Before his death, the exiled
During their journey, the Skywalkers encountered the Lost Tribe of Sith, as well as a malevolent dark side entity known as Abeloth. With the help of his son and the rest of the Jedi, Skywalker returned to his position as Grand Master.
During the High Republic, the 12 seats on the Council consist of three Grand Masters, including Yoda, Lahru, and Pra-tre Veter.
The Jedi however also have three outliers in that of Luke, Leia, and Cade Skywalker (23000/23000/21000 midi-chlorians respectively) all of which were children/descendants of Anakin Skywalker (the chosen one) and so genetically predisposed to having abnormally-high midi-chlorian counts for Jedi.
Mace Windu was a male Korun Human Jedi Master of legendary status who was the Master of the Order in the days leading up to the Battle of Geonosis, after which he gave the title to Grand Master Yoda.
The highest known midi-chlorian count—over 20,000 per cell—belonged to the Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who was believed to have been conceived by the midi-chlorians.
Over 20,000. Not even Master Yoda has a midichlorian count that high.”
What is the lowest Midichlorian count? Counts as low as 2,000 midi-chlorians per cell provided no sensitivity to the Force; an average Human had less than 2,500 per cell, while a mildly Force-sensitive being such as Nova Stihl had a count in excess of 5,000.
History. In the latter days of the Old Republic, Yoda served as Grand Master of the Jedi Council, conferring with legendary Jedi Masters like Mace Windu and Ki-Adi-Mundi on matters important to the Republic.
A legendary Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a noble man and gifted in the ways of the Force. He trained Anakin Skywalker, served as a general in the Republic Army during the Clone Wars, and guided Luke Skywalker as a mentor.
By the High Republic Era, Yoda was considered a great Jedi Master. He had also gained a seat on the Jedi High Council and the rank of Grand Master. Two other Jedi—Lahru and Pra-Tre Veter—shared that title with Yoda.
Sidious eventually betrayed Tyranus by ordering Anakin Skywalker to kill him. Tyranus was then replaced by Skywalker, who pledged fealty to his new Sith Master as Darth Vader. Like his predecessor, Vader was an apprentice who mentored Force-sensitive students despite not holding the rank of Sith Master.
Whereas the Master of the Order served as leader of the Jedi High Council, the Grand Master was the head of the Jedi Order. The title was shared by Jedi Masters Lahru, Pra-Tre Veter, and Yoda during the High Republic Era.
That said, both Yoda and Yaddle have a high midi-chlorian count in their blood. Yoda's m-count was roughly 18000, while Yaddle's was closer to 12000.
This means that midichlorian counts reduce with each generation, when a force sensitive has kids with a non force sensitive. The reduction is about 3000. So plugging that into Palpatine's midichlorian count of 17,000 we get 13,000 midichlorians for Rey.
George Lucas REVEALS Padme Had MORE MIDICHLORIANS THAN ANAKIN AND YODA – Star Wars Explained. In the art of revenge of the Sith – George Lucas' top concept artist McCaig reveals that Padme had the most midichlorians of anyone in Star Wars – including Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Yoda and Palpatine.
Yes, Luke midi-chlorian count was 14,500 per cell which was far less than his father Anakin who had 27,700.
Vader held respect for Tarkin which is clearly shown and the only case in which Tarkin outranked Vader would be the case in which Vader was in the Death Star or within Tarkin's Oversector which he likely was as Tarkin was Grand Moff of the Outer Rim Oversector, the largest one.
But one Jedi stands above the rest and needs to start getting recognized as the greatest Jedi who ever lived. That is none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi. While this saga is ultimately the story of the Skywalkers, Obi-Wan is arguably the best and most pure Jedi to ever come out of it.
Many Jedi Masters also took on apprentices to train in the ways of the Force, such as Depa Billaba and Luminara Unduli. After serving as a Jedi Knight for three years, Anakin Skywalker advanced to the point in his training that he felt he deserved the rank of Jedi Master, though the Council did not agree.
