OPINION: After two years of living in New York, there's one Australian city it reminds me of more and more.
Melbourne is the second largest city in Australia after Sydney. It is the capital of the state of Victoria. On the other hand, New York City is located in the state of New York and has the largest population in the USA. Both cities have lots of attractions and interesting content.
1. London, UK. The big city of London is renowned for its history, culture, and bustling streets. Much like New York, it is a vibrant city with a diverse population and a rich mix of cultures, cuisines, and traditions.
This begs the question – what US city is most like Melbourne? There are a few different US cities that have been regarded as being like Melbourne, Australia. However, the city that is generally considered to be the most like Melbourne is New York City.
The city that's most like NYC is Jersey City. I've been to numerous large US cities, including Chicago, LA, Philly, New Orleans, Boston, Miami, DC, San Diego, etc but none of them resemble NYC more than Jersey City does.
