Scarlet is also associated with immorality and sin, particularly prostitution or adultery, largely because of a passage referring to "The Great Harlot", "dressed in purple and scarlet", in the Bible (Revelation 17:1–6).
Over all contexts and Web sites, the blue color scheme was perceived as most trustworthy and the black color scheme as least trustworthy.

There are four types of lie that can be characterized by naming them with four colors: Gray, White, Black and Red.
Red is a color deeply rooted in the human psyche, and connected to the most powerful emotions, love and hate.
Heartbroken is a midtone blue with a purple undertone. Depending on the light source or time of day, it may appear as the color of new blue jeans on the walls.
The given colors for evil tend to be red and black (predominantly Asura, but also madness and bad things in general), with the series' grim reapers adopting the classic black-and-white combination (even down to their hair color) in contrast to the protagonists' usually bright surroundings.
The three main colors most often used in manipulation tactics are: red, orange and blue. The color red creates a strong emotional response like passion or love. It is known for being able to increase a person's intensity, appetite and quicken a heart rate.
Red-green and yellow-blue are the so-called "forbidden colors." Composed of pairs of hues whose light frequencies automatically cancel each other out in the human eye, they're supposed to be impossible to see simultaneously. The limitation results from the way we perceive color in the first place.
The results of the RGB colour model revealed that guilt was most commonly associated with red, black, green, and violet colours.
Blue is a giver, not a taker. It represents strong relationships and feels deeply hurt if betrayed. What is this? A few other meanings of the color blue are trust and honesty as it instills confidence and inspires feelings of loyalty and integrity.
Lost Love is a light, neutral, baby purple with a red undertone. It is a perfect paint color for warmth in a bedroom or nursery. Pair it with white trim for clean contrast.
Grey is the quintessential sad color, but dark and muted cool colors like blue, green or neutrals like brown or beige can have a similar effect on feelings and emotions depending on how they're used. In Western cultures black is often considered the color of mourning, whereas in some East Asian countries it's white.
Each type of pain produced its individual and invariable color, for instance: Hollow pain, blue color; sore pain, red color; deep headache, vivid scarlet; superficial headache, white color; shooting neuralgic pain, white color.
Black is the hallmark color of sadness. In western cultures, this is one of the sad colors associated with mourning, hence why people wear black to funerals and when they are in mourning. Black also brings up feelings of sadness and fear.
Undoubtedly, the strongest link between an individual emotion and color is “red” and anger, which has been noted across studies and formats (e.g., Kaya and Epps, 2004; Sutton and Altarriba, 2016).
We've learned that the color yellow in Crime and Punishment appears in three main forms: faces and bodies, paper, and various domestic objects.
“Red” “Red” was indicated among the top three colors for anger, followed by jealousy, fear, and envy, respectively (Figure 2).
Black dahlias
Most dahlias stand for elegance and prosperity, but the striking black variety (really a deep burgundy) is a well-known symbol of betrayal. It's a shame its flower meaning is so negative, because it's stunning.
THEMATIC STATEMENTS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOUR STORY:
The person most hurt by betrayal is the one who does it. Those closest to us can do the most damage. You can never really trust anyone. Forgiveness of a betrayal does not mean forgetting that it happened.
Yellow, the lightest hue of the spectrum, signifies joy, happiness, betrayal, optimism, caution, idealism, imagination, hope, sunshine, summer, gold, philosophy, dishonesty, cowardice, jealousy, covetousness, deceit, illness, hazard and friendship.
That being said, color psychology attributes orange to selfishness and opportunism, so make of it what you will.
