Does * 69 still work? However, if the caller dialed *67 before making that call, it blocks caller ID, so *69 won't work. The calling and calling the number, however, will be trapped by the telephone company, along with the *69, *67. So, it stays in the company's records, just won't work dialing.

It sounds like the person you are calling may be blocking restricted calls, so you can not call them anonymously. If you must call the person, try calling them without using *67 so that your number shows up on their Caller-ID.
This Vertical Service Code, *82, enables calling line identification regardless of subscriber preference, dialed to unblock withheld numbers (private callers) in the U.S. on a per-call basis.

Within “Additional Settings,” look for the “Caller ID” option. Click on “Caller ID” and select the “Hide Number” option.
What is BT 1471? BT 1471 tells you the last number that called - unless the caller withheld their number by dialling '141' before dialling your number, or the call came from a switchboard extension number. 1471 Call Return also lets you return the call straight away, by pressing '3'.

Activate Call Trace
Pick up the phone and press *57 (touch tone) or 1157 (rotary). You'll hear a confirmation tone and message will be heard If the trace is successful. You must keep a written log of the date and time of harassing calls to retrieve Call Trace information.
Anonymous Call Rejection (*77) stops calls from people that use a blocking feature to keep their name or number from being displayed. When Anonymous Call Rejection is turned on, callers will hear a message telling them to hang up, turn off the blocking feature, and call again.
