Eddie and Venom arrive to fight Carnage while Frances seemingly kills Mulligan by hanging him with a chain. Venom is overpowered by Carnage but provokes Frances into using her powers to separate Carnage and Cletus. Venom devours Carnage and kills Cletus while the collapsing cathedral crushes Frances.
After Venom broke through the prison cell that held his host Eddie Brock, a small piece of the symbiote was left behind. That piece soon bonded with Cletus Kasady, Brock's cellmate. Once he came into contact with it, the two bonded, and Carnage was born.
Carnage is Venom's son. Like most organic beings, Venom's race known as the Klyntar also reproduces and creates other symbiotes. Venom spawned an offspring while he was rescuing Eddie Brock from prison. The newborn symbiote bonded with Eddie's cellmate Cletus Kasady and became Carnage.
“Venom: Let There Be Carnage” — the sequel to the 2018 film, “Venom” — ends with Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and his Venom counterpart rushing off to an unknown island, where they are hiding from authorities and police after the events of the film (where they destroy buildings and cause a whole lot of, well, carnage).
Venom decided that, in order to completely remove the threat of Carnage from the world, he would have to devour and absorb Carnage completely. Venom managed to remove the Carnage symbiote from Kasady's bloodstream to the extent that, despite his best efforts, Carnage would not reemerge from Kasady's body.
In addition, Venom has come out on top as the victor in many battles with Symbiotes like Carnage, Hybrid, and Scream (all of which are arguably more powerful than he is).
Without a doubt, "The Nativity" arc (by Mike Costa and Mark Bagley) is among Venom's most unusual stories, featuring the alien symbiote becoming "pregnant" (while Eddie Brock was his host) and giving birth to the Sleeper symbiote.
Carnage is Venom's offspring. That is why Carnage often calls him “Pops” or the like. Like a previous poster stated Venom feels responsible for Carnage and Carnage hates his “dad”.
The bond between the Carnage symbiote and Kasady was stronger than the bond between Brock and the Venom symbiote. Cletus Kasady was also a serial killer and thought of as insane. As a result, Carnage is far more violent, powerful, and deadly than Venom.
Feeling shunned, the symbiote bonds with Eddie Brock, as the pair become Venom through their shared hatred of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. In simple terms, Venom hates Spider-man because Peter Parker rejects the Symbiote.
In nearly every iteration of Carnage's character, he is the offspring of Venom. The Klyntar, the race of aliens that the symbiotes belong to, reproduce asexually and can transmit their offspring to other hosts.
The reason Carnage is red is because he bonded with Cletus' blood directly just like how it happened in the comics.
Who would win in a fight between carnage and riot? Carnage does have more abilities, but was like a rampaging kid and Venom ate it to kill it. Riot was cunning, and was even able to rip Venom from Brock and would have eaten him if Brock didn't rebond with it.
Carnage's creation stems from a violent altercation between Kasady and Eddie Brock, with a later near-death experience finally uniting the symbiote with Kasady. Given Kasady's characterization and the involvement of blood, Carnage's transformation in Venom: Let There Be Carnage is almost vampiric in its violence.
Venom 3 was originally expected to arrive sometime in October 2024, but the fact that Sony has moved it up on the schedule suggests that they are confident about delivering the film despite the impact of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes on the production (more on that below).
While Venom would eventually mercilessly beat Carnage to achieve victory over his “son,” it took an entire team of heroes to “soften up” the serial killer symbiote.
4) Carnage
Venom's most dangerous offspring became one of Marvel's most vicious villains after bonding with serial killer Cletus Kasady. Carnage is more violent, unpredictable, and some would say more powerful than Venom.
During the fight, Mulligan is apparently killed by Barrison, but absorbs a piece of one of the symbiotes, which later revives him and causes his eyes to glow blue.
In the trailer, the Venom symbiote expressed reluctance about fighting him after noticing that Carnage is a “red one,” which suggests that red symbiotes are naturally more powerful than all other members of his species.
During the last interview with Brock, Kasady started mocking the reporter by wishing him a heartbreak for uncovering his secrets. Venom wasn't satisfied with his actions and attacked the prisoner, which resulted in Cletus bitting Eddie's hand. Right after the bite, Carnage was born and bonded with its host.
In a preview for Dark Ages #6, readers learn that in this new world, Venom and Carnage combined with Miles Morales to form the ultimate symbiote villain.
Disgraced and suicidal with a growing irrational hatred for Spider-Man, Brock comes into contact with an alien symbiote, rejected by Peter Parker. The symbiote bonds with him and they become Venom, together seeking out revenge against their mutual enemy.
While captive, the Venom symbiote was forced to give birth to five offspring - Riot, Lasher, Phage, Agony, and Scream - who were bonded to PMCs hired by the Life Foundation.
Venom withdraws from Eddie's corpse, which crumbles to dust in Venom's arms, realizing it's time to let him go. What makes this so powerful is that Eddie does not go out and save anyone.
