Choosing DARE results in Emma giving the Sailing Instructor a choice to either KISS KAITLYN or KISS DYLAN: Kiss Kaitlyn: Ryan will kiss Kaitlyn, which will make the latter happy but upset Dylan. Kiss Dylan: Ryan will kiss Dylan, which will make the latter happy but upset Kaitlyn.
If Ryan picks "dare", Emma will dare him to kiss either Kaitlyn or Dylan. After expressing mild disappointment that he can't kiss them both, he must choose.
If you're picking the right responses and flirting with Ryan, you can get a dialogue between them regarding romantic relationships. Dylan will ask Ryan what his plans are after camp, and Ryan will respond ambiguously. This can prompt Dylan to ask Ryan if he has a girlfriend back home.
For example, choosing to kiss Kaitlyn will leave Ryan somewhat disappointed at the missed opportunity. Kaitlyn kissing Ryan is much like Dylan's response: a polite yet earnest peck on the lips. This is understandable for both parties, as their admitted crush on Ryan is given a chance to bloom.
You will be given the choice of whether you want to cut off his hand to stop the infection. Make sure you choose the “Desperate” option when you are prompted after Dylan is bitten to cut off his hand to save his life. You will also get the Just a Flesh Wound Achievement.
It is still possible to save Dylan if the monster bites his hand by using Ryan to amputate it before the infection spreads. This is best done by choosing the CONFIDENT dialogue option and then the CHAINSAW to successfully cut Dylan's arm off.
If Dylan is infected in Chapter 5 and Ryan does not cut off his hand, Dylan's survival is guaranteed, as Silas (and possibly Emma) won't attack him, he'll turn into a werewolf and no one can kill him.
Signature. Ryan Erzahler is one of the nine main protagonists and a playable character in The Quarry. He is one of the nine counselors at Hackett's Quarry summer camp, working as the camp's sailing instructor. He was voiced and motion captured by Justice Smith.
Later in the game, Ryan tells Laura that he knows they're both interested, but he isn't sure he's interested in either of them. Cutting back to Kaitlyn and Dylan, the two express that Ryan is interested in Laura. Despite having a boyfriend, Laura and Ryan share some great chemistry.
Nick and Abigail both have crushes each other at the beginning of the game, but are too shy to make any move. However, Nick soon is given the perfect opportunity to try to show his feelings to Abigail as they gather kindling.
Emma, Dylan, and Jacob are the only protagonists who can get infected and able to turn into werewolves. Abigail, Ryan, and Kaitlyn are the only protagonists who can get infected, but never turn into werewolves.
Nick. Nick and Abigail both have crushes each other at the beginning of the game, but are too shy to make any move.
3 Worst: Dylan Turns Into A Werewolf
If Dylan has been bitten, and you've chosen not to amputate his hand, he'll be infected with the werewolf curse. He won't turn until later in the game when he and Kaitlyn visit the scrapyard.
Make it to Silas and break the curse
Finally, when given the option to kill or spare Silas, have Laura break the curse by shooting the creature. This will mean any characters who remain infected will be cured and freed. And that's how you end up getting the best ending in The Quarry.
We come to meet these characters after their summer as camp counselors comes to a close. Despite pairings like Abigail and Nick and Jacob and Emma having some degree of romance over the summer, we see more of them dealing with their inevitable ends and less getting a sense of what those relationships were like.
Hugging Ryan essentially expresses disinterest and lets him down easy, so, this is the time to seal the partnership with a kiss.
Jacob. Jacob is the popular kind of character. He's arrogant but also charming and wants everyone to have a good time. He's in love with Emma, and he'll try to keep the relationship going.
Laura Kearney is one of the nine main protagonists and a playable character in The Quarry. She is one of the nine counselors at Hackett's Quarry summer camp and the girlfriend of Max.
You'll also get to know Ryan, played by Justice Smith, who is known to many as the (human) star of Detective Pikachu. You also might've seen him in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Paper Towns and All the Bright Places.
Silas Vorez is the main antagonist of The Quarry.
Doing so doesn't kill him directly, but will render him unable to take on his brother in werewolf form shortly after, which guarantees Bobby's death. If Ryan doesn't stab him (or doesn't have the knife to do so), Bobby gets knocked out in the struggle, but has the strength to survive the night.
A while after, Laura jumps into the room, scaring the hunter away. After the two chat for a bit, Laura suggests biting Ryan to heal his wound. People need to ACCEPT the bite; otherwise, Ryan will die from blood loss later on in the chapter. Finally, while Chris is fighting Bobby, Laura transforms and attacks Travis.
Not ideal, but Dylan will survive. Of course, if you chose differently with regards to the cabin, Dylan survives and doesn't lose his hand. Poor Max didn't stand much of a chance to begin with, but here's how to save Max in The Quarry.
Abigail can only be infected in Chapter Three. After Nick is attacked, she has a variety of choices. Three moments can end up with her getting infected. The first is that she neither runs nor hides from the werewolf.
Avoiding Infection
To avoid getting bitten in Chapter Four, players must push the cabinet while running to the trapdoor and succeed in the quick time event to climb the ladder. If she does not have fireworks when she runs from the hunters, she will be attacked by a werewolf and bitten on the leg.
