Comfort yourself knowing that Allah SWT is Ash-Shahid, and He is a witness to your pain and loss. In remembering Allah as Ash-Shahid, think of how He comforts the Prophet ﷺ during a time he felt lonely: By the morning sunlight, and the night when it falls still!
Take comfort in Al-Qawiyy.

Introduction. Verily, Peace (al-Salām) is among the Names of Allah He has placed on the earth, so spread it between yourselves. We all gravitate towards peace or what appears to give us tranquility and calm, even without realizing it.
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah at the time of distress, saying, "La ilaha illal- lahu Al-`Azim, al- Halim, La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa Rabbu- l-arsh il-azim."
Al-Saboor is an Attribute of Allah (SwT) which is linguistically derived from the noun sabr صبر which means: withholding one's self from expressing its overwhelming grief. Al-Saboor is most patient, the One Whose patience is greater than anyone else's.
Every day, whether in our prayers or before we begin something, we consistently recite two attributes of Allah that remind us of His mercy: Allah is al-Rahman and al-Rahim – the Compassionate and the Merciful. Both divine names share the same Arabic root, R-H-M, which means caring and mercy. 1.
Allah calls Himself An-Nur—The Light, The Illuminating— on one occasion in the Quran. He is the one who is the light and from whom comes all light. An-Nur is the light of the heavens and earth, and His light clarifies and reveals, both physically and spiritually!
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from severe calamity, from misery to fall upon me, from misfortune in the decree, and from the joys of the enemies."
Surah Duha, Surah 93, ma sha Allah. Allah subhana wa ta'ala revealed it at a time when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was depressed, to soothe him. For the man who suffered the most in this world, it was something very soothing.
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “No person suffers any anxiety or grief and says this supplication, but Allah will take away his sorrow and grief, and give him in their stead joy. Having said that, however, Muslims are not immune to the feeling of grief or depression.
Ar-rajaa (Hoping for good from Allah)
Allah is Al-Jabbar, the mender of broken hearts. The Name, Al-Jabbar, is mentioned once in the Holy Qur'an in Surah Al-Hashr, verse 23.
Ar-Rahman The Most Merciful is one of the names of Allah
The One who is most kind, loving and merciful.
Al-Ghafūr (ALA-LC romanization of Arabic: الغفور) is one of the Names of Allah. It means The Ever-Forgiving, The All-Forgiving. It is part of the 99 Names of Allah, by which Muslims regard Allah, and it is described in Qur'ān and Sunnah.
Muraaqabah (awareness that Allah is watching) means the Muslim's bearing in mind in all circumstances and situations, and believing with certainty, that Allah sees him and knows what he is earning of good or bad deeds with all his faculties, and that He knows what is hidden in his thoughts and in his heart.
Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives. Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us.
Quran Acknowledges the Reality of Depression
Many times the Quran reminds one that there is no grief or fear if one remains steadfast and that the Hereafter is free of all those negative and overwhelming feelings and situations (Quran 43:68, 46:13).
The study empirically investigated the idea that Quranic verses (Surah Al-Rehman) can help manage depression.
We all experience difficulties in our life's and as Muslims we should know that this is a test from Allah. In fact that this is something Muslims firmly believe in, that going through difficult times is inevitable.
Surah Al-Rehman has 78 verses and it is “Makki.” Surah Al-Rehman reduces depression from one's heart. A depressed person needs a source to turn to, turning to God for help, support, mercy and forgiveness helps in reducing sadness and other symptoms of depression.
