It is here that Roz and Frasier reconcile, and agree to remain friends. In the show's final episode, Roz becomes station manager of KACL after the previous manager, Kenny Daly, decides to become a DJ again.
By the end of the season, Roz gives birth to her new baby girl, whom she names Alice May Doyle. Late in the series, Roz finally manages to maintain a seemingly stable relationship with Roger, a garbageman.

Roz arrives just as Martin is leaving, and tells Frasier that she has had her calls forwarded to his number. One of the messages left is from the Garretts, the parents of Rick, the father of Roz's baby, who want to get in touch and see how she is.
Although Cheers ended ambiguously with regard to Frasier and Lilith's marriage, at the beginning of the spin-off series Frasier, their divorce had been finalized, with Lilith gaining custody of Frederick and remaining in Boston while Frasier has moved back to his hometown of Seattle.
The baby that Niles and Daphne have at the end of the show is not a result of a real life pregnancy of Jane Leeves, the actress who plays Daphne. However, she was pregnant earlier in the show. In season 8 the actress got pregnant and it was simply written into the show as a weight gain.

Even fans of both Cheers and Frasier can forget that Frasier was actually married before Lilith to Nanette Guzman, who is played in her first appearance by Emma Thompson on Cheers season 10.

In the end, Niles decides the proposal doesn't need all the bells and whistles—just the two of them (finally) together.
