Poison Ivy (Pamela Lillian Isley /ˈaɪzli/ EYEZ-lee) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in Batman stories. She was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino, and first appeared in Batman #181 (June 1966).
Given what we know about the character, despite story nomenclature, the killer kiss is more accurately described as poisonous, not venomous. Regardless, the result is the same. Contact with Ivy's lips delivers a toxin capable of killing the recipient.
