Sydney has been named the best city in the world to live, by a survey conducted by Brand Finance. The inaugural Brand Finance City Index surveyed 15,000 people around the world about the best cities based on seven key dimensions.
Brand Finance has declared Sydney as the best city to live in, not just in Australia, but the world, and the overall 5th best city in the world for 2023. The global survey conducted by the brand consultants pooled together answers from 15,000 people from all over the world.
Green Bay, Wisconsin, jumped two spots to become the best city to live in for 2023, according to the publication's annual ranking.

Questions were asked around a number of liveability and other factors. Sydney got first place for the most 'desirable' place in the world to live, thanks to its vast natural beauty, stunning beaches and harbour.
