1 Yoriichi Tsugikuni
Yoriichi was the very first user of the Breathing Styles and he came up with Sun Breathing, a powerful breathing form that is known to be the most effective against demons.
This mastery allowed Zenitsu to form a Seventh Form of Thunder Breathing that is unique only to him: Honoikazuchi no Kami. While this move might seem similar to Thunder Breathing's First Form, the speed and power of this technique are on a whole new level.

Combat Style
"Breath of the Sun: Thirteenth Style") is the thirteenth form the Sun Breathing and the pinnacle of all Breathing techniques in history. This technique was created by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself in order defeat Muzan Kibutsuji.
After Tanjiro chipped his sword in his battle against Upper Rank Six, Hotaru trained more to make a stronger sword. Hotaru demonstrated his professionalism and expertise when he polished and sharpened the 300-year-old blade left in Yoriichi Type Zero while completely ignoring the wounds he received from Gyokko.

The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Yoriichi would be able to defeat every single Hashira on this list without breaking a sweat. Such was his reputation and skill in swordsmanship.
Yoriichi was powerful enough to defeat Muzan; however, he couldn't do so. That's because he couldn't come down to kill his twin brother, leading to his own demise. Even to this day, Muzan is scared of Yoriichi.
When Yoriichi moved forward to kill him, Muzan used the remains of whatever power he had left and divided his body in a powerful burst. Though Yoriichi was able to destroy nearly all the fragments, the pieces he missed escaped and allowed Muzan to regenerate again.
