This is the best dua to be recited when afflicted by any problem. This dua was recited by Hazrat Younus alaihi salam in the belly of the fish. Allah accepted his prayer. 'La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka, inni kuntu minadh-dhalimin'.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-Ḥuzni wal-'ajazi wal-kasli wal-bukhli wal-jubni wa ḍala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.
'O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You.' Allahumma raḥmataka arju fala takilni ila nafsi ṭarfata `ayn, wa aslih li sha'ni kullahu, la illaha illa ant.
One popular dua for protection is "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" ("There is no power or strength except in Allah"). This dua can be used to protect oneself from any form of harm caused by the evil eye, jinn, black magic or enemies.
It was narrated in a sahih report that our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are three prayers that are not rejected: the prayer of a father for his child, the prayer of the fasting person and the prayer of the traveller.” Narrated by al-Bayhaqi; see Sahih al-Jami', 2032; al-Sahihah, 1797.
Prerequisites for your dua to be accepted
You must repent for your sins (make tawba). You should remove all the unlawful things from your life. Ensure you are performing the basics: praying five times a day, paying zakat, fasting in Ramadan, etc. You should make dua with sincerity and a focused mind and heart.
“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah at the time of distress, saying, "La ilaha illal- lahu Al-`Azim, al- Halim, La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa Rabbu- l-arsh il-azim."
Dua for seeking refuge from severe calamity, misery, and to be freed from misfortune. "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from severe calamity, from misery to fall upon me, from misfortune in the decree, and from the joys of the enemies."

Al-Ghaffar
In short, no matter how many times you sin, falter, or make a mistake, believe that Allah is Al-Ghaffar - the one who constantly forgives. If you are feeling downcast or ashamed, seek Allah through this name to implore for his endless forgiveness.
O Lord, if You know that this matter (here the person makes mention of the matter for which guidance is sought, i.e., “should I move, take that job, marry her, etc.”), is of benefit to me in my religion, in my livelihood and in its outcome, decide it for me and make it easy for me and then bless it for me.
Dua for ease and success in life
Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alul-hazna iza syi'ta sahla. “O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy and You make the difficulty if You wish, easy.”
Surah Duha, Surah 93, ma sha Allah. Allah subhana wa ta'ala revealed it at a time when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was depressed, to soothe him. For the man who suffered the most in this world, it was something very soothing.
We all experience difficulties in our life's and as Muslims we should know that this is a test from Allah. In fact that this is something Muslims firmly believe in, that going through difficult times is inevitable.
Allah has said very clearly in the Quran that the only way to fight anxiety is to have the remembrance of Allah and have faith in Him, worship Him and stay close to Him.
"Aoodhu Billaahi minasshaytaani Aamanthu Billahi wa Rasoolihi - I take Refuge in Allah, from the shaitaan. I Repose my Faith in Allah and His Prophets " to ward off all evil thoughts while in Salaah and other times.
To know Allah is to place your trust in Him
To know Allah is to know and acknowledge His names and attributes. Pause and reflect when reciting them and call upon Him by these names. Only then can one develop a meaningful connection to Allah—one that will inculcate complete reliance on Him.
If you are committing any sin which you are aware of, then it is best advised to stop committing that sin so that Allah will answer your dua's. We don't know which sin of ours is stopping Allah from accepting our prayers.
According to Aishah—when Allah's Messenger got up at night for Tahajjud, he used to extol Allah's greatness ten times and then praise him ten times. Then, he would say the words “Glory and praise be to Allah” ten times. Then, he would say “Glory be to the Holy King” ten times and ask Allah for forgiveness ten times.
