If there is a spell to encapsulate the asset Hermione is to everyone's favorite magical trio, it has to be Alohomora. Alohomora is, fittingly, the spell that is used to unlock locks. Much like her character throughout the entire series, Hermione is wicked smart, cunning, resourceful, and the best problem-solver.
Though “Alohomora” was the first spell to grace our ears in the Harry Potter universe, it certainly wasn't the spell used most commonly in the wizarding world.

It is revealed that The Order of the Phoenix was betrayed by Kreacher, Sirius Black's house elf, when Sirius, in a fit of anger, gave Kreacher an order that permitted him to speak to Sirius' cousin, Narcissa Malfoy.
When Moody was killed by Lord Voldemort during the Battle of the Seven Potters, Harry was devastated by his death, as were the other Order of the Phoenix members.
After Voldemort's death, Hermione is able to lift the spell on her parents.
