Godzilla's biggest weakness is his own atomic breath. This was demonstrated when Mothra used her scales to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath back at him, forcing him to retreat.
"MonsterVerse Godzilla's Weaknesses": Excess Radiation, Gills, MUTO Prime's sonic roar, Oxygen Destroyer, Proton Scream and Environment.
Although Godzilla initially was weak to electricity, he turned that into a strength in a shocking turn of events. In Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, Godzilla managed to absorb a tremendous amount of electricity and give himself a magnetic charge.
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla
In 1954, Godzilla appeared and laid waste to Tokyo before being killed by Daisuke Serizawa's Oxygen Destroyer. In the decades that followed, Japan was frequently attacked by giant monsters, including Mothra and Gaira.
King Ghidorah is considered Godzilla's greatest rival and for good reason. He's bigger, badder, and stronger than any other kaiju Godzilla has fought.
While Godzilla is pretty large, the Kraken probably has him beat. The most famous way the Kraken has even been defeated is by forcing it to look at Medusa's head, thus turning it to stone. Unfortunately, Godzilla's hands are just way too big to hold Medusa's head the right way, so Kraken takes the win.
Abilities/Weapons
Godzilla can bite down with a 500k bite force which tears through the bones and flesh of many kaijus it faces. Godzilla has bioluminescence that it uses to, among other things, intimidate or warn foes. Godzilla's roar can push smaller foes away and even off their feet.
1) Hulk. Hulk is a no-brainer. His power increases as his anger rise, which would get him to a point where he could essentially lift Godzilla off the ground and toss him. And since the Hulk was created from gamma radiation exposure at high levels, Godzilla's atomic breath would have minimal effect on him.
In addition of aging slower despite being 252 million years old and still has the physical appearance of a giant reptile in his prime, Godzilla can practically live forever, though close-call instances such as exposure to the Oxygen Destroyer and his battle against Mechagodzilla confirmed that he can still be killed.
Godzilla is slowed down by the cold, and in some movies he is weak to electricity. Godzilla has also been killed by his own doing, for example he pushed his body and went to far entering Critical Mass which is what killed him in Godzilla v.
He uses his atomic breath to lift himself off the ground like a rocket and he propels himself all the way to his fleeing foe. It's the only time Godzilla has ever flown in his almost seventy-year cinematic history, and it's fitting that it happens in the weirdest film in the entire franchise.
Godzilla has seen many interpretations over the decades, but Shin Godzilla's version of the classic monster stands out as particularly horrifying.
Perhaps most distinct are this Godzilla's white pupil-less eyes, which are meant to give him the appearance of being undead and otherworldly. This Godzilla has very large white claws on his hands and feet. His feet and legs are relatively large compared to the rest of his body.
This Godzilla may be a mindless force of destruction, with no course of thought, emotion, or intent. Alternatively, it is also possible that he is in a constant state of pain, agony and suffering from its mutation and disfigurement, fitting the description that Godzilla "is equally a victim of the atomic bomb”.
Godzilla himself doesn't eat, he feeds on radiation. His species, on the other hand, is most likely omnivorous, as Godzilla Junior fed on plants and meat when he was young. Once he was a sub-adult, he even ate whales. Radiation or Cosmic energy as SpaceGodzilla.
King Ghidorah showed that Godzilla mutated from a late-surviving theropod dinosaur. The carnivore looked like the old, dumpy restorations of Tyrannosaurus from the mid-20th century, and, no surprise, the fictional dinosaur is known as Godzillasaurus.
After calculation, Godzilla requires approximately 215,000,000 calories to survive per day. It is unlikely it would be able to attain this kind of energy intake (ignoring eating radiation!)
Through more than 60 years of cinematic history, the Japanese pop culture icon has appeared in over 30 live-action movies at this point. However, he's only actually died in four of them. True to his title, Godzilla typically prevails in most of his fights - even when he's the main villain.
In “Godzilla vs Mothra”(aka “Godzilla vs the Thing”), he wasn't beaten in direct battle, as he was cocooned by two Mothra lava. In “Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla”, he lost the first battle with Mechagodzilla.
Knowing that his brother was dead, Zeus summoned The Hydra to defend his home. Godzilla quickly defeated The Hydra by driving it into Mount Olympus, the impact of which brought the mountain down on top of it, killing it and every Olympian except for Zeus.
Godzilla's biggest weakness is his own atomic breath. This was demonstrated when Mothra used her scales to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath back at him, forcing him to retreat.
Anguirus is the first monster to be shown engaging in combat with Godzilla in a film.
Ghidorah (1964) was the turning point in Godzilla's transformation from villain to hero, by pitting him against a greater threat to humanity, King Ghidorah. Godzilla has since been viewed as an anti-hero.
