The relationship is one of close economic ties (economic ties grew rapidly after 1980), as well as hegemonic rivalry in the Asia-Pacific. It has been described by world leaders and academics as the world's most important bilateral relationship of the 21st century.
China has provided economic, technical, and military assistance to Pakistan; both sides regard each other as close strategic allies. Bilateral relations have evolved from China's initial policy of neutrality to an extensive partnership driven primarily by Pakistan's strategic importance.
Countries considered India's closest include the United Arab Emirates, Russian Federation, Israel, Afghanistan, France, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and the United States.
However, since the late 1980s, both countries have successfully rebuilt diplomatic and economic ties. Since 2008, China has been India's largest trading partner and the two countries have also extended their strategic and military relations.
Nevertheless, China and Russia currently enjoy the best relations they have had since the late 1950s. Although they have no formal alliance, the two countries do have an informal agreement to coordinate diplomatic and economic moves, and build up an alliance against the United States.
General Secretary Xi reaffirms China's close ties with Russia, saying “China is willing to work with Russia to continue supporting each other on their respective core interests concerning sovereignty and security.”
Australia and India have a positive defence relationship, underpinned by the 2006 Memorandum on Defence Cooperation and the 2009 Joint Declaration on Security Co-operation.
Similarly, a 2017 opinion poll by the Moscow-based non-governmental think tank Levada-Center states that Russians identified India as one of their top five "friends", with the others being Belarus, China, Kazakhstan and Syria.
America and the United Kingdom's Friendship
They are among the best friends in the world as well, and this is because they share a lot of similarities and values. Several studies have shown us how close these two nations are when it comes to friendships. The two countries have strong military ties as well.
Bilateral relationship
Australia enjoys long-standing and growing ties with Pakistan, underpinned by deepening people-to-people links. Diplomatic relations were established after Pakistan's 1947 partition from India, and Australia has maintained a resident mission in the country since 1948.
Pakistan was one of the first countries that recognized the People's Republic of China. Over the years, the relationship has blossomed into an “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership”.
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, 181 countries have established diplomatic relations with China on the basis of the one-China principle.
The enmity between these two countries emanated from the history of the Japanese war and the imperialism and maritime disputes in the East China Sea. Thus, although these two nations are close business partners, there is an undercurrent of tension, which leaders of both sides are trying to quell.
The conflict is often termed the second Sino-Japanese War, and known in China as the War of Resistance to Japan. There are arguments that the conflict began with the invasion of Manchuria in 1931, but between 1937 and 1945, China and Japan were at total war.
The United States and Canada are stalwart allies, and U.S. defense arrangements with Canada are more extensive than with any other country in the world.

Russia and the United States maintain one of the most important, critical and strategic foreign relations in the world.
And it goes both ways The 2022 Asia NZ Foundation survey found Kiwis view Australia as their closest friend, with 84% seeing Australia as friendly (although I do think much of this has to do with NZ holding the Bledisloe Cup for the past 20 years).
It maintains significant ties with ASEAN and has become steadfastly allied with New Zealand, through long-standing ties dating back to the 1800s. The country also has a longstanding alliance with the United States of America.

Trade relations
The two countries have built a strong trade ties, specifically since 2008. China has become Ukraine's largest trading partner since 2019, with a trade turnover of 15.4 billion US dollar in 2020, of which Ukraine exports goods worth 7.1 billion US dollar.
The United States has by far provided the most military assistance to Ukraine, more than every other country combined.
Not only is China helping to develop the oil and gas sector, but China supports Iran's ambitions to bring Caspian Sea oil and gas to Southern Iranian ports through pipelines so the resources can be exported to Europe and Asia. Iran relies upon its oil sales to China to ensure its fiscal well-being.
