Small, young pythons may be attacked and eaten by a variety of birds, wild dogs and hyenas, large frogs, large insects and spiders, and even other snakes. But adult pythons are also at risk from birds of prey and even lions and leopards.
It is no doubt that king cobras do occasionally consume large prey such as monitor lizards or even pythons. One cannot but wonder how the snake is able to make dynamic decisions and evaluate the risks and gains of pursuing prey such as a rock python, which can potentially kill the cobra by constricting it.
The lion is the winner!
Pythons are powerful predators but no match for the mighty lion. If this snake were venomous, it'd only have to land one strike to win the fight. But pythons use a much slower death-by-squeeze tactic.
The video shows a crocodile coming out of the water to a river bank and facing off with a huge snake. As the two reptiles are waiting for the other to attack, the crocodile goes for it and quickly grabs the python in its teeth. The crocodile then mercilessly kills the python and takes its prey into the water.
Crocodiles. The python lives in an aquatic habitat, and when swimming it is vulnerable to crocodiles. While younger specimens can be captured and eaten by a crocodile of any size, the older a python gets, the larger it becomes. A large python can be captured and eaten only by a large crocodile.
Slow Speed
After the high memory usage, it's lack of speed is one of the biggest disadvantages of Python. As it executes the code one line at a time, the speed of execution often is hampered. Where speed is important for the project, Python cannot be used for coding.
Driving its fangs in, the cobra delivers a fatal bite. It only takes a bit of the unique neurotoxin to paralyze and kill the python. Our champion won't have any trouble eating the loser of this animal battle. In the wild, king cobras love eating snakes, including pythons.
One might think a giant snake such as a reticulated python or anaconda would be likely to defeat an elephant, but that's not true. Neither of them has the strength to kill elephants. This is where the king cobra comes in.
Anaconda vs Crocodile: Size
Crocodiles are more massive, weighing up to 2,000lbs and measuring 20 feet long. The largest crocodile on record was named Lolong and was a saltwater crocodile. Lolong weighed 2,370 pounds and measured 20 feet 3 inches long! Crocodiles are larger creatures, so they get the advantage here.
The rare kill underscores the incredible hunting skills of Africa's largest snake, the African rock python. You could say this snake had the last laugh: Researchers in southwestern Kenya recently stumbled across a 13-foot-long African rock python (Python sebae) that was swallowing a 150-pound hyena whole.
The anaconda does the exact same thing, but it has more crush force to put an end to the fight. The offensive capabilities of these two creatures are similar, but the anaconda is much stronger and gets the advantage.
In a specific ambush situation, a snake could kill a gorilla, of course. A quick bite from a deadly venomous snake followed up by fleeing or a situation where a gorilla is attacked from the water by a large python or anaconda would be much more difficult for the mammal to fend off.
The king cobra is an apex predator and dominant over all other snakes except large pythons. Its diet consists primarily of other snakes and lizards, including Indian cobra, banded krait, rat snake, pythons, green whip snake, keelback, banded wolf snake and Blyth's reticulated snake.

Physical power is clearly not a problem, because pythons and anacondas are capable of killing and eating 'large carnivores' such as bears and large cats [33, 34] .
It is hard to believe but snakes have many enemies. Large birds, wild boars, mongooses, raccoons, foxes, coyotes and even other snakes are a few of the dangers snakes fall prey to. Many people find it surprising that the largest and the scariest snakes can be afraid of anything, but it is true.
Some fun facts about the Black Mamba:
They are some of the world's fastest snakes and are capable of speeds of more than 12 miles (19 km) per hour and hence will be the one which can kill the fastest.
Snakes consider cats to be predators and are scared of them. However, it doesn't guarantee that having cats around will keep snakes from coming near. The snake may detect other things in the area—such as mice or birds—that it likes to eat.
An anaconda would win a fight against a king cobra. This outcome assumes that both of these creatures met in an open area that doesn't allow an ambush to happen. Otherwise, the anaconda might just snatch the water-loving king cobra into the water and make for a much less interesting fight.
