Trivia. Anne was originally planned to be Muzan`s older sister, who died by the hand of a Demon Slayer but that idea was scrapped, as the author knew practically nothing about Muzan`s early life. Instead, Anne became his wife, by which he had two children.
Since Muzan favored Gyutaro so much, he chose to incorporate the latter's sister Daki as well. The demon king believed that she was the only tool that could be used to control Gyutaro. However, he deemed Daki weak and believed she was the prime reason for her brother's death.

Shinobu confessed her love to Guiyu. in episode 18 of Demon Slayer, Shinobu shows her liking to Guiyu.
Giyu also states how he feels about Shinobu, saying he thinks she is both hardworking and serious, along with stating that she talks to him a lot and mentions she looks pale, implying he might be worried about it.
Shinobu holds a strong resentment and hatred for Doma, due to him killing her older sister, Kanae. This hatred and disgust becomes even stronger when she actually meets him and comes to understand and see first-hand his twisted personality and ideas about giving his disciples "salvation" by killing and eating them.
