As always, trouble is brewing elsewhere: after sleeping with Butcher, Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) attracts the terrifying ire of Homelander. According to the show's creator, we should be fearing for her. Amazon Studios Queen Maeve is in a “tight spot” in The Boys.
She agrees and they have rough sex. Homelander confronts Maeve about betraying him because he can smell Butcher all over her. She tells him he's crazy and doesn't know what he's talking about. He asks her if their love was real and she tells him that from the start, she hated him - and beyond that, pitied him.
"Maeve is going to learn she's pregnant with Butcher's child. She was ready for everything to be over and ready and willing to die... but she's gonna have to rethink everything after learning she's pregnant.
Eventually, she sacrificed her life while protecting Starlight from Homelander. However, her sacrifice was avenged when Homelander was killed by his clone, Black Noir.
Introduced in the spinoff series, Soldier Boy was simply a patriotic-themed Supe who had sex with Homelander once a year at Herogasm in an attempt to make his way into The Seven.
She is at first rejoiced at being selected, however is later sexually assaulted when the Deep extorts her into performing oral sex on him in "The Name of the Game" in order for her to stay on the team.
In Garth Ennis' original comic books, a huge number of supes are capable of flight compared to the TV show. By bringing that number right down, Homelander begins to look even more special and unique among his own kind. Unfortunately, that means Queen Maeve having her wings clipped.
As noted by Deadline, Emma Mackey, who plays Maeve Wiley, is moving on from her role in the hit Netflix show. When asked about what's in store for Maeve in future seasons, the actor told RadioTimes that she's ready to bid farewell to her onscreen character.
In the show, it is revealed that Homelander impregnated Becca during her captivity and that she has been raising their son, Ryan, in secret for years. Butcher initially believes that Becca cheated on him with Homelander, but later learns the truth and sets out to rescue Becca and Ryan from Homelander's control.
In both the comic and TV series, Noir is a member of the hedonistic and reckless Vought-American superhero group the Seven and is depicted as a "silent ninja" type parody of Batman, Snake Eyes and Deathstroke.
Homelander and Soldier Boy have sex in the "Herogasm" stretch of #TheBoys comics, though that didn't happen in the Amazon series' take on the storyline. This week's episode explained why. "The Boys" star Jensen Ackles breaks down the major twist between Soldier Boy and Homelander revealed ahead of next week's finale.
Return of Soldier Boy
Noir eventually attacked Maeve per order of Homelander after she confessed that she never really loved him. Noir was also mentioned by Grace Mallory when she talked to The Boys about the Nicaragua incident, back when Noir was a member of Payback.
While Maeve's abortion may be a big decision, it's not treated with Very Special Episode theatrics. In “Episode 2,” Maeve realizes she is pregnant after secretly hooking up with sports star Jackson Marchetti (Kedar Williams-Stirling). After the revelation, she continues having sex with Jackson during “2.”
Maeve was eventually killed while protecting Starlight from Homelander and Black Noir, though Homelander easily overpowered her after she struck him on the head with her sword, shattering it in the process. He then flung her decapitated head at Starlight as she flew away from The Seven's headquarters.
Maeve manages to give Butcher three vials of Temp-V or V-24, levelling the playing field by giving its user powers for 24 hours. But all in vain. Maeve gets more V-24 to Butcher and feeling dejected and defeated, the two get drunk and have sex, which left everyone shocked.

In actual physical combat, Homelander and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) are the only two who would likely be able to beat Maeve.
So in order to save not just the lives of the people she loves, but the entire world, she sucks it up and goes further down the rabbit hole, “revealing” a secret relationship with Homelander in the American Hero finale in order to rehabilitate his image, and taking it one step further by kissing him.
Starlight is a parody of both Doctor Light and Stargirl as well Mary Marvel costume with little Powergirl-influenced outfit.
As Starlight, she is a member of the Seven, a group of superheroes funded by Vought-American (Vought International in the television franchise), and the love interest of Hughie Campbell.
Yup, Soldier Boy is Homelander's biological father. Suddenly all these daddy issues make a lot more sense. This character element isn't from the original The Boys comics, but was something Kripke and the writer's room came up with for the show.
"Mother's" Milk, primarily known as MM, is depicted as a regular human (though still a military veteran) with a dislike of Vought and its Supes resulting from a car crash caused by Soldier Boy in MM's youth, which killed his mother, uncle, and grandfather, and led to his father working himself to death as a lawyer ...
After the Herogasm party was suddenly interrupted, Homelander flew to Vermont to confront Soldier Boy. For the first time, Vought's finest superheroes ever created locked horns in an epic battle. Before fighting, Homelander warned his adversary that he was the improved version of Soldier Boy.
