The dark lord himself,Darth Vader, killed 1,379,319 players by Force-choking them to death on Walker Assault on Hoth. We already knew Star Wars: Battlefront's beta was the largest in EA's history, with 9.5 million players but these more in-depth numbers are way more fun.
Sidious approved of Vader's display of power, though it was not enough to stop the Emperor from overpowering Vader through his own command of the Force. Vader was able to choke to death the officer Kronn from afar, without seeing him, simply via comlink.
Admiral Ozzel's legacy is that Darth Vader Force-choked him to death before the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back.
Vader's presence struck fear into almost everyone he came across, and a large part of that was due to his strength. His first kill in the franchise was when he held Captain Antilles, choking him on the Tantive IV in A New Hope. Strangulation, and more specifically the Force choke, became a go-to move for the Dark Lord.
Actor Richard LeParmentier, whose character was infamously choked by villain Darth Vader in the original "Star Wars" movie, has died at age 66, his representative confirms to TODAY.
A former Jedi, Count Dooku is an immensely powerful Force-sensitive individual and has a firm grip over the Force choke. He has used it to overpower many—a pirate called Turk Falso, Zygerrian Queen Miraj Scintel, Silman, a couple of guards, and Anakin Skywalker.
Vader held respect for Tarkin which is clearly shown and the only case in which Tarkin outranked Vader would be the case in which Vader was in the Death Star or within Tarkin's Oversector which he likely was as Tarkin was Grand Moff of the Outer Rim Oversector, the largest one.
He wasn't powerful enough. Obi-wan could use the Force to counter any of Vader's Force-attacks. Meanwhile in The Revenge of the Sith, Palpatine and Dooku together, WERE powerful enough. Did Obi-Wan really become more powerful than Darth Vader could ever imagine?
One of Darth Vader's most famous scenes involves him using the Force to nearly choke an Imperial officer to death when he mocks Vader. There's tons of other instances where this power crops up - even Luke Skywalker briefly uses the technique in Return of the Jedi.
1/15 Luke Skywalker
Having faced his father once before, Luke was familiar with his tactics and used the force to gain an upper-hand. In Star Wars Canon, only Luke Skywalker can be acknowledged as the one who truly defeated Darth Vader.
Upon learning that Vader was a servant of the Emperor, the look-alike, who was actually Amidala's former Handmaiden Sabé, fired her blaster at the Sith. Vader deflected the laser with the Force and pulled the blaster out of Sabé's hands.
Appealing to the hate and conflict within him, Darth Sidious goaded Luke into attacking. Vader defended the Emperor and he and Luke were locked in mortal combat. Luke lost control of his anger, viciously attacking Vader, finally beating him down and chopping off his hand with his lightsaber.
It's most commonly associated with Darth Vader and the Sith, but Luke has used Force choke — and it has even been seen on the big screen. In an early scene in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Luke breaks his way into Jabba's Palace but is confronted by the green, pig-like guards.
At the beginning of Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker Force choked Jabba the Hutt's Gamorrean guards. However, Luke was far from the only Jedi to use the power. Jedi like Anakin, Ahsoka, Barriss Offee and Grogu all Force choked someone in their Jedi careers.
As soon as Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, he already faced his most persistent nemesis and lost, namely his own master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
In the Clone Wars, when Palpatine became displeased with Count Dooku, he outright force choked him from half a galaxy away. This is far, far beyond what any other Sith can do. Even Darth Vader could merely force choke someone on the same ship as him, and that was with a regular human.
He was an intelligent and cruel man, who served for a long time in the Army: he knew how much Vader was dangerous, but he also knew that he was the Emperor's mastiff. Knowing this, he knew that as long as he made his work and the emperor was happy with his work, he didn't need to be afraid of Vader.
Admiral Ozzel : [appearing onscreen with Captain Piett] Lord Vader, the fleet has moved out of lightspeed and we're preparing to... Darth Vader : You have failed me for the last time, Admiral! Captain Piett?
His armor could be hacked and controlled by a device. In a turn of events, Darth Vader's right limb holding his dangerous scarlet lightsaber was moving of its own accord toward his neck. This was a dangerous weakness indeed.
Although Lord Vader did not command directly at Endor, it appears that the Imperial Fleet believed that he was in charge, and it was his second-in-command, Admiral Firmus Piett, who directed the naval aspect of the confrontation with the Rebellion from the bridge of Executor.
There just isn't any way that in an even fight Obi-Wan beats Vader. Although Vader is supposed to be one of the strongest force users of all time, we actually haven't had a chance to see him using his full strength very often.
Much like he could use Force heal, which was an inherently light side Force power (although Star Wars has since associated it more with Force dyads), he can also use Force choke, because to him there is no difference between them.
