Jesus states this directly in the Gospel of Matthew, where he pronounces that our Final Judgment will be based on whether we saw the hungry, the thirsty, the imprisoned, and the naked and acted with compassion. It is this compassion that Veronica is compelled by when she moves to wipe Jesus' face.

Powers and Abilities
Veronica's powers began to manifest with her first seeing a black widow spider on her father's portrait. From there, they began to appear in greater numbers. The Glamerge egg she received from Reggie as a gift was filled with black widow spiders.
The relic of the True Cross was then restored to its place in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
One tradition places it in the Cathedral of Trier, another places it in Argenteuil's Basilique Saint-Denys, and several traditions claim that it is now in various Eastern Orthodox churches, notably Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, Georgia.
What did Judas Iscariot do? Judas Iscariot was one of the Twelve Apostles. He is notorious for betraying Jesus by disclosing Jesus' whereabouts for 30 pieces of silver. Judas brought men to arrest Jesus and identified him with a kiss.

Answer: The veil was the heavy curtain in the Temple at Jerusalem which was torn when Jesus died. Matthew 27:51 says, "Behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent."
The white cloth represents the resurrection of Christ. The white cloth remains on the cross from Easter Sunday through Ascension Day when the cross remains bare until next Lenten season. How can we use this tradition in our own worship and reflection?
