That night, while Shinaelestra slept, the Queen of Air and Darkness commanded the unseelie to murder the seelie and Titania in their sleep.
And while Titania is enamored of the player-turned-donkey, Bottom, Oberon basically snatches the boy away from her. She agrees to turn the Changeling Boy over to Oberon, but only because she's distracted with her false love for Bottom.
Despite their argument, Titania does seem to be ultimately in love with Oberon. During the play, she temporarily falls in love with Bottom because of a magical love potion that Puck puts in her eyes.
