Shazam may be wise, but Thor is thousands of years old, and as the All-Father, has a far greater command of magic. As long as he doesn't overtax himself, he could easily outpace his opponent.
Thor: Who wins? Thor wins. Not only is Thor a better combatant and more experienced, but he also can be stronger than Shazam by using Megingjord to augment his superhuman strength.
Shazam is faster and more agile than Thor, while Thor has greater strength. Ultimately, it would likely come down to a battle of wills, with the victor being the one who outlasts the other.
Captain Marvel, aka Shazam, is one of the most powerful heroes DC has to offer. He's on Superman's level, though Shazam's powers are derived from magic. However, being powerful is not what makes Shazam worthy of Mjolnir. In fact, Shazam is not the one who is worthy of the hammer; Billy Batson is.
Thor, being a god himself, surpasses the power levels of the individual gods Shazam draws his abilities from. Therefore, Thor's divine heritage, his godlike power, and his mastery of Mjolnir provide him with the necessary advantage to defeat Shazam in battle.
The Hulk is the strongest one there is in the Marvel universe. His strength is potentially infinite and he has a powerful healing factor that means he doesn't stay hurt for long. Shazam has a lot of powers at his disposal, but he's just not ready to deal with the Hulk.
17 Weakness: Electricity
This means that if he is hit with a powerful enough blast of electricity, Shazam will be transformed back into Billy Batson. This is a strange weakness to have, as you'd think a hero with such a powerful connection to lightning would be impervious to electricity.
Other than Thor and Odin, certain other individuals have proven worthy of lifting Mjolnir in the primary continuity: Roger "Red" Norvell (a deliberate ruse by Odin) Beta Ray Bill. Buri (also known as Tiwaz, Thor's great-grandfather)
If it ever comes to a battle between Black Adam and Thor, who wins? Black Adam wins the fight against Thor. Black Adam is more durable, faster, and has much more experience fighting. It wouldn't be an easy fight by no means, as the two characters mostly rely on similar offensive abilities.
1. Billy Batson. We all knew Billy would have to wind up on top here. Although he may not be as strong as someone like Superman, inside of the Shazam universe, there's no one who has emerged yet who can beat Billy.
It will take Flash 0.1 seconds to travel 25,000 miles around the earth. Effectively The Flash can appear in a flash anywhere on earth. Thor in comparison moves ludicrously slow. He travels at the speed of sound or 767 miles-per-hour.
Iron Man is one of Marvel's biggest icons. Despite this, Shazam would undoubtedly beat Iron Man in a fight. There's not a lot that Iron Man could do in his base suit to hurt Shazam. Iron Man likely wouldn't be able to think of a way to beat Shazam, as magic is outside of his wheelhouse.
RELATED: Captain Marvel Vs. Shazam: Who Would Win? Loki's powerful but it's doubtful he'd be able to mess with the power of the Wizard Shazam, so he couldn't take away Billy's powers. With the wisdom of Solomon and much great strength and speed, Loki doesn't stand much of a chance.
But even that will only get him so far. In fact, in Alex Ross' Kingdom Come graphic novel, Shazam was brainwashed by Lex Luthor. Superman was the only hero in the entire Justice League even remotely strong enough to defeat him — but just barely.
Odin spanks. The All father wins while he even holds back. Infact Odin would have to hold back so as not to murder Shazam, Odin has to. You don't want to imagine what a no holding back Odin would do to Shazam, that's child abuse.
It should come as no surprise that, in a one-on-one battle of Zeus vs Thor, Zeus would easily triumph.
Ghost Rider wins in a fight against Thor. Even though Thor is physically stronger than Ghost Rider, Thor has nothing in terms of magic to throw at him due to Ghost Rider's immunity to most types of damage and his ability to reassemble himself even after the most severe damage.
While Thor is one of the most powerful beings in the MCU, it is known that Scarlet Witch's powers are superior. However, there are a lot of examples, even outside of Marvel, where powerful figures can still be defeated by those less so under the right circumstances.
And Mathaudhu can cite documentary sources to back him up. For example, Marvel – which publishes the Thor comics – issued a “Thor's Hammer” trading card in 1991 that states Mjolnir is made of Uru and weighs precisely 42.3 pounds. That's lighter than a herd of 300 billion mice, much less a herd of 300 billion elephants.
Moon Knight even seized control of Mjolnir as he revealed that the Uru metal of the hammer is just another moon rock. So while Moon Knight couldn't physically wield the hammer, he could command it to obey his will. And that control extended to Khonshu as well.
Shazam's Powers and Abilities
He has the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury. In effect, this gives a Shazam a very Superman-like suite of abilities that include super-strength, invulnerability and flight.
Most post-2000 appearances of the Seven Deadly Sins identify them by their traditional theological versions (Pride, Envy, Greed, Anger, Sloth, Gluttony, and Lust). When the Spectre destroyed the Rock of Eternity and killed Shazam the Sins were released.
And Superman knows that Shazam's magic can hurt him. That was when Superman promptly froze Shazam's mouth using his breath so that the human lightning bolt could not utter “Shazam” to use his magical thunderbolt against him.
