Lord Beerus was introduced in Dragon Ball Super chapter 1 by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou as an elder space god whose only purpose in the universe was to keep life in check by regularly (and randomly) destroying planets.

1) Whis. While Goku's meteoric growth during the Moro arc and since have been incredibly impressive, it's unlikely he can defeat Whis yet. While his fight with Moro showed he can beat another Ultra Instinct user, Whis' Angelic heritage and proficiency is unfathomable.
Goku. Goku is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise. His abilities include super strength, utilization of ki, teleportation, super speed, and durability. However, he is the strongest anime character because he overcomes adversity and thrives on improvement.
