Tingle is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series. He is known for his flamboyant behavior, catchphrase, and outfit: red briefs worn over a green full-body jumpsuit with a pointy head and ears. He is often seen floating in the air, attached to a red balloon.
This odd little elf is quite the character. Tingle, the polarizing elf that has appeared in a handful of The Legend of Zelda games, is not gay, series producer Eiji Aonuma has confirmed.
It is revealed in the Hyrule Historia that Tingle is human as his ears and head are not pointy.
The Tingle Brothers include Tingle, Ankle, Knuckle, and David Jr., and they appear in The Wind Waker, The Minish Cap, and Four Swords Adventures. Tingle. Knuckle, and David Jr. can be found at Tingle Island day and night.
So basically, Link and Zelda aren't in a canon-confirmed romantic relationship, but Summersett confirms what we've been able to see all along: Link and Zelda share a loving, caring relationship. Link has always been one to support Zelda no matter what, and Zelda has always believed in Link.
It is official: Linc is the father of Amelia's baby. The confirmation comes at the end of the “Mars,” when Linc has already told Amelia the biological specifics of her pregnancy no longer matter to him. “I don't want to live without you,” Linc tells Amelia while standing on her doorstep in the pouring rain.
In Tingle's first spin-off game - Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland - a very interesting detail about Tingle is revealed. Specifically, Tingle is not a person, nor is he a fairy. Instead, Tingle is a state of existence.
Characteristics. Tingle, in his Wind Waker form is a short, pudgy 35-year-old, while Tingle, in his Majora's Mask form, is an averaged-sized, paunchy 35-year-old man who is obsessed with "forest fairies" and dresses up in a green costume, slightly resembling that of Link.
Situated near the middle of Windfall Island, it is here where Tingle is imprisoned after being accused of stealing a Picto Box, though he claims that he is innocent of the crime. Link can press a Switch hidden behind a cluster of Vases to free Tingle, who will thank him by giving him the Tingle Tuner.
The official Elf on the Shelf website details the three rules to follow. The first and most important rule is that you must NOT touch your Elf. If you do, they will lose all their magic - and nobody wants that to happen. When scout elves lose their magic, they can't go about their Christmas duties.
Santa advises that no family member touch their Elf on the Shelf, but he does describe a few rare instances when an adult may use tongs or potholders to help an elf in an urgent situation.
According to the official "Elf on the Shelf" website, "Christmas magic is very fragile, and if scout elves are touched they may lose their magic." It doesn't specify that this only applies to kids, so we're guessing this applies to any humans.
Ganon is a fictional character and the primary antagonist of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda video game series and franchise, as well as the final boss in many Zelda titles. In his humanoid Gerudo form, he is known as Ganondorf.
In the fictional storyline of the series, she is an elf-like Hylian princess of the kingdom of Hyrule, an associate of the protagonist Link, and bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom. Though she is the eponymous character, Zelda's story role is often that of a damsel in distress or donor who assists Link.
While Ganondorf usually serves as the villain of the Zelda franchise, the antagonist of Breath of the Wild is more abstract. Calamity Ganon is the primal form of evil that existed long before the story begins.
The only known exception to this rule is the Zelda of Twilight Princess, who is a princess in name only. She actually runs the kingdom of Hyrule in that game, and, according to the official Prima guide, she's 20 years old, making her the oldest Zelda in the franchise and the only one decidedly older than Link.
In Breath of the Wild, Link climbs Mt. Lanayru and visits the spring, suggesting he's at least 17. If we then factor in the fact that Link wakes up from a 100-year-long slumber at the beginning of the game, Link would roughly be 117 years old.
3 Swamp Tourist Center Guide
Without a real name of his own, Swamp Tourist Center Guide (or just Guide) is Tingle's canon father. Tingle does have different parents in Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, but they aren't considered his real parents and are just part of the storybook Tingle is in.
In celtic folklore, there are many fairy lovers, that is, romantic or sexual relationships between humans and fairies. Usually these relationships are forced. Either a human male forces a fairy female to be his wife, for example by taking away and hiding her swan feathers or seal skin.
“Fairy” is a non-gendered word, unless an individual fantasy author makes it different for their story. “Nymph,” on the other hand, is feminine. The original meaning of the word was “bride.” And “satyr” is male, though late in antiquity artists made up “satyresses.”
Princess Zelda is believed by many to be the love interest of Link in the Legend of Zelda series. She first appeared in The Legend of Zelda for the NES in 1987. She is often kidnapped by Ganondorf several times. Her role is very similar to Princess Peach, and Princess Bubblegum.
Unfortunately, the only thing this flirt fest stirred up was every jealous bone in Link's (Chris Carmack) body. He finally tells Jo in the pouring rain that he is in love with her and has been since they were kids. Guess what? Jo loves him too!
Keep in mind that the Zelda Link is trying to wake up in Zelda II is not the Zelda he rescued in the original Legend of Zelda, but the “original" Zelda (at the time) from the series' backstory. Despite being married, Link accepts his kiss with pride. Who's to say he didn't accept a new bride, as well?
