The most powerful Thor variant is Ultimate Thor, who's real name is Thorlief Golmen. Golmen discovers he is the most recent reincarnation of Thor Odinson and begins his journey as the new God of Thunder. This version of Thor was less reliant on Mjolnir as a power source.
Thor doesn't always save the day in Marvel Comics, and some of his biggest losses include falling to Thanos and Gorr the God Butcher. Thor: Love And Thunder revisits Thor after he has lost everything, including his home in Asgard, his brother Loki, and his sense of place in the universe.
Discovering a talent for magic and manipulation, Loki became the god of lies and mischief and Thor's fiercest enemy. Over the years, he's fought the heroic thunder god in many different ways, sometimes directly, sometimes by creating new super-villains, sometimes by tricking allies into turning against him.
Thor is repeatedly vanquished by the 5 new Phoenix hosts over the course of 12 issues: Colossus, Namor, Cyclops, Magik, and Emma Frost. Colossus even manages to knock Mjolnir out of Thor's hands at one point, demonstrating the strength of Phoenix and why it should not be trifled with.
Well, it's about even. Hercules' strength is rarely matched. There were times when he even overpowered the Incredible Hulk – a feat that not even Thor could complete. So, when it comes to physical strength, Hercules is the strongest.
After weakening Odin with poison, Thanos avenged his earlier defeat and teamed up with Mangog on a dark cosmic quest. Thor joined forces with Firelord to prevent the end of everything. However, it took some upgraded armor and weapons for Thor to prevail over Thanos, who seemingly perished at the end of the story.
Odin. Odin is basically Thor and all the other Asgardians rolled into one—though he's even wiser, more experienced, and minus one eye. As the default King of Asgard, Odin is easily the most powerful being in his realm.
In the Marvel Universe, Thor has emerged as the true strongest there is, and has proven to be a cut above the Hulk. Of course, all of this could change in the hands of another story (and writer), but for the time being, Thor has truly earned his reputation as one of the mightiest heroes of the Marvel Universe.
How high that strength level rises would vary in different comic books, but most classify Thor in the “Class-100” strength category, which means he can lift well over 100 tons without too much difficulty.
And Mathaudhu can cite documentary sources to back him up. For example, Marvel – which publishes the Thor comics – issued a “Thor's Hammer” trading card in 1991 that states Mjolnir is made of Uru and weighs precisely 42.3 pounds. That's lighter than a herd of 300 billion mice, much less a herd of 300 billion elephants.
During this battle, Venom (Eddie Brock) was given the powers of Captain Universe, and was able to wield the hammer. However, Venom took this advantage a step further by merging Mjolnir with the Silver Surfer's surfboard to create an even greater weapon.
Yes, even Spider-Man has been worthy of holding the hammer of Thor. This is not your father's Spider-Man (well, actually, it could be if your dad was a kid in 1993), but instead is the Spider-Man of Marvel's distant future of 2099!
Thor is Immortal, Not Invincible
In Avengers: Infinity War, Thor revealed that he was over 1500 years old. It's clear that age doesn't affect him the way it does normal mortals, as with most immortals, he is aging at a slower rate. While Thor will eventually die, it will take thousands of years for it to happen.
Stormbreaker is capable of killing Thanos outright, and only Thor is currently worthy of wielding it. A head to head match up between Thor at full power and Thanos, even armed with the gauntlet, seems to favor the God of Thunder.
Developing powers like his fellow Oans, Krona is more than powerful to defeat Thanos. Beyond his vast energy powers, Krona has mighty mental abilities that would allow him to defeat Thanos. The Mad Titan has defenses against mental attacks, but not at the level that Krona is capable of.
Thor wanted Zeus and the other gods to help him fight Gorr the Godbutcher (Christian Bale), who—as you can perhaps guess from his name—poses a threat to all the gods. Zeus is uninterested in helping. Thor then kills Zeus using Zeus' own thunderbolt, which (frankly) feels like a bit of an overreaction.
Odin has pretty clearly been shown to be demonstrable more powerful than the other gods. Odin's Odinforce has far outstripped anything Zeus's magical lightning bolts have ever done.
Painful Death
Hercules then asked for help from the gods to end his life, and he received it. The Greek god Zeus sent lightning to consume Hercules' mortal body and took him to live with the gods on Mount Olympus. This was the apotheosis, the transformation of Hercules into a god.
Gorr's consciousness was contained inside All-Black, finally at peace in an empty void without gods. Eons after his death, Gorr was resurrected by King Loki - All-Black's then-host - in order to kill him after he killed All-Father Thor, manifesting a copy of his body from the symbiote.
Even without the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos has proven himself to be a hugely powerful threat, often taking on entire teams of Avengers at once. However, it is with the Infinity Gauntlet that he can most consistently defeat the Avengers.
The hammer Stormbreaker is very similar to Mjolnir, made of mystic Uru metal and is nearly indestructible. Worthiness: Just like the original Mjolnir, no one can lift Stormbreaker who is not worthy.
