When Madara was reincarnated, he was controlled by Kabuto. He quickly regained control using his sharingan and became an almost immortal being. However, he eventually realized he was being used, but it was too late because he was killed by Black Zetsu.
Madara then went on to become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and reached godly levels of power, only to be struck down by his own ally, Zetsu. After Kaguya's defeat, Madara Uchiha's body was released, and he finally passed away next to his friend, Hashirama Senju.
Although nearly everything went according to Madara's plan in the war, he was still stopped in his ways by Naruto and Sasuke, and later, struck down by a duplicitous Black Zetsu.
Throughout the entire series Madara Uchiha died three times.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara wiped out the entire 4th Division, which consisted of thousands of ninja, in a few minutes. He also used the power of the Ten-Tails to kill thousands more near the end of the war. In the end, Madara killed more than 10,000 people, giving him the highest Naruto kill count.
Obito in his Tobi persona was Kishimoto's favorite Akatsuki character to draw, because of his simple mask. His nickname (Tobi) comes from Obito calling him Guruguru (グルグル), an onomatopoeia for turning round and round or going around in circles.
Itachi would have surpassed Madara Uchiha if things were different for him. He learned every powerful Jutsu at a very young age and had a whole life to hone his skills and strength. However, he died too soon and his true potential never saw the light of day.
Sasuke was stated to be the strongest Uchiha to ever have been born, including Madara. So, obviously, his powers do exceed Madara's. With his Choku-tomou Rinnegan and Indra's arrow, he is almost invincible. As a result, he is also one of the Naruto characters who can defeat Madara.
Black Zetsu was one of the members of the Akatsuki and was said to have been the will incarnate of Madara Uchiha. He did everything he could to make Madara's dreams come true, only to betray him at the very last minute.
Although he changed his views mid fight in the fourth ninja wars, that would also cause his demise. In an attempt to save Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi, Obito Uchiha sacrifices his own life and gets killed by Kaguya Otsutsuki.
He was able to achieve this feat by setting the Izanagi to trigger at a later time and date, a mechanism that can be considered an unexplained mystery of the Sharingan. When the set date arrived, the Izanagi suddenly activated, bringing Madara back to life and erasing his vision in one eye.
Madara Uchiha is among the most powerful shinobi to have ever lived, and his power only increased when he attained the power of the Sage of the Six Paths. He was able to fend off both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha for a time in this form, and Kakashi Hatake would likely be unable to subdue Madara on his own.
Losing Kurama means that Naruto Uzumaki has lost most of his powers and thus cannot compete against the strongest of opponents anymore. While he can still fight them, defeating them in combat is an entirely different thing altogether.
It is easy to see that Sasuke supplants Madara in every category except for chakra reserves as the latter was the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. However, Sasuke is far ahead in all the other categories. Consequently, Sasuke is undoubtedly the strongest Uchiha in Naruto.
Sasuke Uchiha
In his case, he surpassed Itachi during the 4th Great Ninja War, where he gained the power of the Rinnegan, along with the Six Paths Yin chakra.
Who is the god of Uchiha? Indra Otsutsuki is revealed to be the creator/ founder of the renowned Uchiha Clan in Naruto. He was the eldest son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki (The Sage of Six Paths) and the elder brother of Ashura Otsutsuki.
1 Kaguya Otsutsuki
She wields the Rinne-Sharingan, which is needed to cast the strongest Genjutsu in the entire series. With her Rinne-Sharingan, Kaguya can cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi over the entire world.
Obito Uchiha was one of the strongest Uchiha to ever exist. He awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan during the Third Great Ninja War after witnessing Rin die. Obito's eye weilded the Kamui, a powerful space-time ninjutsu.
Obito's hate for the Uchiha was simply a result of Madara's animosity towards the clan, as they had betrayed him long ago and had decided to side with the Senju-led government.
Obito Uchiha is, perhaps, the biggest villain in the world of Naruto. Obito became a villain after witnessing the death of Rin at the hands of Kakashi. Convinced that the world of dreams was the way to go forward, Obito did everything in his power to help Madara achieve his goal.
Not only was he nearly killed by the Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumi, but shortly afterward, he was also almost turned to dust by Onoki using his Dust Release Kekkei Tota.
