Their combination of intelligence and empathy makes them a joy to be around. INFJs are incredibly creative and love coming up with unique ideas. They can always find the silver lining in any situation, which is simply adorable. Plus, their witty comments and sharp wit make them even cuter.
INFJs are unique not only because they are the rarest type, but because many people liken them to having a sixth sense, of sorts, because they often seem to leap intuitively to the correct answer, without having to know all of the facts beforehand.
Kindness
As sensitive personalities, INFJs feel attracted to people who show kindness towards others. Extraverted Feeling is their auxiliary function, which means INFJs try to connect in a gentle way, and appreciate those who can do the same.
Sweet, sensitive and reserved – this is how many describe INFJs, the rarest of the 16 Myers and Briggs personalities. Whilst it's true that stereotypes circulate about all types, the INFJ personality gets a lot of attention.
INFJs are great listeners and they have a way of making people feel understood. They are also very intuitive and they have a knack for reading people. With their deep understanding of others, INFJs can be very charming and insightful.
Compassionate: With their strong sense of intuition and emotional understanding, INFJs can be soft-spoken and empathetic. This does not mean that they are pushovers, however. INFJs have deeply held beliefs and the ability to act decisively to get what they want.
The INFP. One of the most imaginative of the types, INFPs hold a childlike wonder for the world beyond the senses.
Women with the INFJ personality type
INFJ Females tend to be reserved, empathetic people. They are likely to value healthy structure and stability, while tending to remain open to new ideas and solutions. They often have a natural desire to help others and make moral choices.
INFJs may undervalue their own needs, ideas, and contributions, acting overly shy and not taking credit when due. At their worst, INFJs can be excessively submissive, ineffectual, and too dependent on direction from others.
However, time and time again, INFJs have told me that they get uncomfortably awkward around their crushes. They giggle more, trip over things more, and make self-deprecating jokes to try to ease the tension.
INFJs are the most extroverted of the introverts, but we tend to lack confidence. INFJs tend to flirt with prolonged, intense eye contact. We'll occasionally say hi or wave, but nothing else. If we end up getting closer, we'll open up little by little.
The INFJ stare is often characterized by its intensity. It may seem like an endless gaze, as if the INFJ is looking right into your soul. They may appear thoughtful and analytical—like they're deeply assessing you or the situation.
INFJs' Two Favorite Love Languages
There are five different love languages: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, or Physical Touch. From what I've seen online and the INFJs I've talked with, Quality Time and Words of Affirmation are the two most popular love languages for INFJs.
INFJs care a lot about the world around them. As deep thinkers, they need a partner who is willing to dive into those depths with them. While INFJs still enjoy worldly things, they don't put all their worth into their worldly possessions. They don't want a partner who is overly obsessed with labels, money, and status.
INFJ. INFJs are the fifth cutest personality type. These mysterious souls have a deep understanding of emotions and are incredibly intuitive. They're always there with a hug or encouraging words when you need them most.
Among women, INFJ is only the third rarest personality type with approximately 2% of women categorized as INFJ. Both INTJ women and ENTJ women are extremely rare in the general population. It is not clear why this would be.
Strongly humanitarian in outlook, INFJs tend to be idealists, and they are generally doers as well as dreamers. They often choose careers that allow them to use their inner vision, their ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships, their creativity, and their strong oral and written communication skills.
Logicians (INTP) and Architects (INTJ) were among the least likely personality types to want children, with 60% each agreeing. Both of these types approach important decisions through the lens of rational analysis rather than emotion.
One of the most positive Myers-Briggs types is the ENFJ, or those who are extroverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. "Known for their optimism and upbeat personality, ENFJs are known for being fun to be around and for being idealist organizers who want to create a better way," Owens says.
ISFPs are quiet, reserved types who like to focus their attention on people and the experiences they enjoy. They aren't typically big talkers unless someone they're talking about something deeply important to them or they're trying to empathize verbally with someone.
Entertainers (ESFP)
However, this should not be interpreted as self-centered behavior. They generally want to bring others along for their enjoyable ride. Entertainers are among the personality types who enjoy luxury and beauty the most. They would rather not let a budget or saving impede that.
ENFJ (The Protagonist)
This personality type's outgoing nature and empathy makes them a formidable flirt. They're very tuned in to other people's emotions and needs, and they can use this to their flirtatious advantage by making whoever they are chatting up feel truly seen.
ISTJ. Quiet, serious, earn success by thoroughness and dependability.
