Galadriel Was Ashamed Sauron Tricked Her The fact that she had saved his life, become his friend, and potentially even developed a little bit of a crush might have just been too shameful for Galadriel to share immediately. There could have also been a darker reason that Galadriel didn't want to confess the deception.
There is one more reason for Galadriel to still keep Halbrand's secret: if she revealed the truth to Celebrimbor, they would never make the rings, and those are needed for the elves to survive.
Though Galadriel doesn't share her news, Elrond is suspicious and wanders out to find the genealogy scroll that leads him to figure out that Halbrand is Sauron. Unfortunately, he finds this news too late, arriving back at the workshop just as the elven rings (the rings of power) are being completed.

When Galadriel hears Celebrimbor speak words spoken by Adar (Joseph Mawle) and discovers they came from Halbrand, Galadriel digs into the Númenor archives for information on the royal lineage of the Southlands. The records reveal to Galadriel that Halbrand's alleged bloodline was extinguished long ago.
Galadriel has been so obsessive in her search for Sauron that she's particularly wary of becoming what she hates the most.
When Sauron tempted Galadriel on the boat what was it he wanted? He seemed to tell her that he wanted peace on Middle Earth and wanted her to rule by his side, apparently as his queen. Sauron is known for being deceitful. While we don't know what exactly he offered her, we know he offered her something.
In The Lord of the Rings, it is said that had Galadriel chosen to use her powers for evil instead of good, she would have been even more destructive and terrifying than Sauron himself. Galadriel was the greatest and most powerful of all Elves in Middle Earth in the Third Age.
Sauron appears most often as "the Eye", as if disembodied. Tolkien, while denying that absolute evil could exist, stated that Sauron came as near to a wholly evil will as was possible.
Legolas came to the Council of Elrond in Rivendell, the great meeting held by the Elf lord Elrond, as a messenger from his father to discuss the escape of Gollum.
But when it becomes clear to Galadriel that Halbrand/Sauron cannot tell the difference between “saving” and “ruling” Middle-earth, she rejects his proposal.

Elrond Didn't Have the Strength to Stop Isildur
The main reason that Elrond wouldn't have pushed Isildur was that he simply couldn't have brought himself to destroy the Ring. He knew that the Ring needed to be destroyed, but actually doing it would have been different.
Another aspect that the series explores is the decision to forge three rings. As Galadriel, Celebrimbor, and Elrond (Robert Aramayo) discuss after the process has already started, it is a way of preventing the concentration of power in a single being's hands.
She's an Elf, So Has a Very Long Lifespan
The first and most obvious reason Galadriel gets to hang on to her Ring – Nenya, the Ring of Water – from beginning (i.e. its forging) to end (the destruction of the One Ring) is that she lives long enough to do so.
By the end of the First Age, Galadriel had already met her husband, Celeborn. They lived in many places throughout the centuries, sometimes together and sometimes apart, which may explain why this character isn't a part of The Rings of Power yet.
As it turns out, even after forging the One Ring, Sauron was still capable of feeling fear and regret. Actually, even during the War of the Ring and at the height of his power.
Sauron's deepest fear was that Aragorn would use the Ring against him. With its powers of domination, Aragorn could comfortably take over the entirety of Sauron's dark army. Though this would eventually corrupt Aragorn, it would allow him to destroy Sauron and take his place.
But the Elves were not so easily ensnared, and as soon as Sauron put on the One Ring they and Celebrimbor were aware of him, and realised they were betrayed. They hid their Rings from Sauron and did not use them.
Though neither is someone you'd wish to annoy, Galadriel is generally considered more powerful than Elrond in Lord of the Rings. Not only is she older than her Rivendell counterpart, but Galadriel witnessed the light from Valinor's Two Trees, giving her a mystic quality.
Galadriel was arrogant and rebellious in her younger years, but she later founded and ruled the kingdom of Lothlórien. She grew to be one of the most powerful Elves in Tolkien's universe thanks to the wisdom she gained throughout her long life.
Legolas was a nice little Elf princeling yet he was nothing next to the Elven king Gil-Galad. So no, Aragorn and Legolas could not defeat Sauron in hand-to-hand combat.
It was as if the Ring had granted him a vision of what could happen if the great Elf were to wield its power. Jackson, on the other hand, used Galadriel's dark form as a visual cue for the audience. Specifically, it represented how she would become evil if she gave in to her deepest desire.
The series produced by Amazon Prime features actors who are not particularly famous. Therefore, Galadriel is not played by Cate Blanchett, but by Morfydd Clark, a Welsh actress who will give life to a younger Galadriel.
Fans know from the later Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit tales, that Galadriel eventually finds, falls in love with, and marries Celeborn, the elf who accompanies her down the stairs when the fellowship first arrives in Lothlorien.
