Draco tried to win Harry's friendship by encouraging him to stick to "the right sort" – i.e., rich purebloods like Draco. Harry's not a bigot or a snob, so he refused to shake hands with Draco, and the rest is history.
Because Draco had mocked Hagrid the first time he met Harry and made comments that alluded to the fact that he had a problem with people NOT raised by magical parents.
He was more jealous of Harry than he let on
Specifically, Draco was jealous of Harry. It was easy to miss because Draco didn't often show his emotions, modelling himself on his cold, confident, calculating father, but J.K. Rowling has confirmed that a lot of his enmity towards Harry stemmed from envy.
Draco Is Jealous Of Harry
According to Pottermore, J.K. Rowling herself has confirmed it. Draco is jealous of Harry. He is especially envious that Harry is more admired at Hogwarts than Draco himself is. And that Harry shows a natural talent for flying, one of the things Draco is good at too.
Draco's refusal to reveal Harry's identity to Bellatrix was not because he liked him. It was because he believed that Harry was the only chance they had at defeating Voldemort. At first, Draco admired and revered Voldemort until he threatened his family's safety.
Harry tried to use this spell himself. The first time was against Bellatrix after she had killed Sirius. His attempt was unsuccessful because, as Bellatrix mockingly explained: 'You need to really want to cause pain – to enjoy it – righteous anger won't hurt me for long…'
Narcissa's greatest moment, however, was when she chose to betray Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Not knowing whether Draco was alive or dead, Narcissa chose to lie to the Dark Lord rather than risk losing her son.
“Harry was constantly crushing on Draco. He just couldn't hide it.” In the books and movies, Harry and Draco are constantly at each other's throats, given that Draco's parents are Voldemort supporters and the evil wizard killed Harry's parents.
The plain answer is no.
Therefore, figuring out a spell that is Draco's favorite is hard and, in the movies, there is no defining moment that cements a spell as his favorite. Based on Harry Potter lore, and an article by The Healthy Journal, Draco's signature spell is a N.E.W.T standard spell, The Protean Charm.
Lucius Malfoy had a strong dislike of Albus Dumbledore. This is due to two reasons – Dumbledore believed in Muggle rights which contradicted Malfoy's pure blood beliefs. In addition, Lucius was a Death Eater, so he believed that Lord Voldemort was a much more powerful wizard than Dumbledore.
responsible for Sirius' death, he began to treat more nicely in DH and even gave him a gift. He even forgives Malfoy of all people.
Draco Malfoy is a coward. Draco Malfoy does not know how to say “no.” Draco Malfoy does not know how to stand up for himself or assert himself. Draco was perfectly comfortable letting himself get roped into a plot to assassinate his Headmaster- who he actually did seem to like- all because of his fear of saying no.
Voldemort hugged Draco as an improvisation and it wasn't planned. Even Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) was caught unaware which increased the effect. In Harry Potter style, it was like a welcome for Draco, but as Voldemort had never known love, he didn't know how to hug him very well. Thats why they had the awkward hug.
Harry was popular for a good reason, and Draco wanted to be the most popular one. Harry got all the fame and Draco was jealous of it, as he was used to getting his way. Harry was good at Quidditch, and better than Draco.
"There were plenty of beats that didn't end up in the finished film — including a moment when Draco throws Harry his wand for the final duel with Voldemort," he said.
The Malfoys are able to avoid serving time in Azkaban, as they provide evidence that helps the Ministry track down the Death Eaters who had fled after the war. It is also probable that, since Narcissa's lie to Voldemort saved Harry's life, the family is pardoned for their crimes.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
Isaacs brings up Lucius' disheveled appearance in Deathly Hallows, raising the possibility that the Malfoy patriarch had begun drinking too much. The way Isaacs saw it, Lucius was in a no-win situation. Given everything he'd done, the man no longer had a place on either side of the war.
During the first two Harry Potter films, Watson “had a huge crush on Tom Felton”, the actress once admitted to Seventeen. The feeling wasn't mutual, according to Felton, but Watson told the same magazine that Felton knew, and that they've since talked and laughed about it.
Daniel and Rupert and Matthew all had a crush on Emma. But Emma liked Tom Felton AKA Draco Malfoy (my assumption of how the Dramione shipping started). Tom and Emma are really close friends 'till this day. There were a lot of rumors that they were dating, though they denied it, and Emma has a new boyfriend.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2: The Kiss.
Only recently did I consider another explanation: that Lucius Malfoy is actually an emotionally abusive father, which manipulates Draco toward the Dark Arts.
When Voldemort has killed Harry Potter and Narcissa checks on Harry, she lies to Voldemort and tells him Harry is dead. She also wants to know how Draco is doing, but she could have asked Harry, then called out that Harry was actually alive after Harry answered her.
In Cursed Child – Part Two, Draco Malfoy explains to Harry that his wife, Astoria Greengrass, was sick for many years. Draco says she suffers from a “blood malediction,” which ultimately ends up killing her the summer before Scorpius's third year.
