Yes. Peter was a false alias given to him by Brenner. Also, Henry's character was given the name Peter when he was revealed on the Stranger Things Twitter. Yeah, it's a cover name.
However, the writers' Twitter account have clarified that the name was just a fake to put fans off the scent, writing: "Peter Ballard was a fake name for casting. His name is Henry Creel and you should not call him Peter. You can, but it's weird."
What is Vecna's origin story on Stranger Things? In episode 7, Vecna is revealed to be Henry Creel (played as a youngster by Raphael Luce), the son of Victor Creel (Robert Englund) and his wife Virginia (Tyner Rushing) shown in the 1950s flashbacks.
Henry Creel is Jamie Campbell Bower's character, but in the show's credits he's listed as Peter Ballard – which we now know was a fake name for casting. In season 4 episode 7, it's revealed that Henry caused the massacre at the lab in 1979.
As Eleven witnesses the horror in the room, she completely overpowers Peter with her own powers and shreds him to pieces, opening the very first gate to the Upside Down and sending him through. As Peter falls through, he is struck by lightning and burned, before turning into Vecna.
Next up, the viewers go on to theorise that One/Vecna is actually Eleven's dad. Yep, told you it was wild. The theory claims that Brenner wanted to create a child with stronger powers, so he waited until One was old enough to become a father.
While intending to get his revenge on Eleven and Brenner, Vecna also goes after victims who have dealt with traumatizing experiences in the past (reminiscent of his childhood and his time at the Hawkins lab).
Peter was a false alias given to him by Brenner. Also, Henry's character was given the name Peter when he was revealed on the Stranger Things Twitter. Yeah, it's a cover name. Would be kinda suspicious if they called him Henry Creel.
Remember also that we have evidence that powers can be inherited -- El inherited her powers from Terri Ives, for example. So it stands to reason that Henry inherited his powers from one of his parents.
Henry became 001 in the program. However, because he was so powerful, a chip was implanted in him called Soteria--which tracks him and weakens his powers.
Hawkins has suffered a lot of trauma over the years - not all of which is connected to Hawkins Lab and the Upside Down - and Vecna's curse takes advantage of that. Vecna appears to carefully choose people who feel a strong sense of guilt or shame, particularly if those emotions are repressed.
Wheeler is Vecna's sister are pretty slim. While it's possible on a theoretical level, it would just be a really weird plot twist, even for Stranger Things. However, it's still odd that Mrs. Wheeler was the only side character with a poster.
Birth and early life. Henry Creel was born in 1947 to Victor and Virginia Creel, and had an older sister by three years named Alice. He did not fit in with his peers; his father described him as a "sensitive" boy.
Unlike the reporters at the Hawkins Post, Fred treated Nancy with respect. Though Fred appeared to be bright and level-headed, he harbored extreme guilt for his role in the fatal 1985 car accident, and believed many people look at him as a "murderer." This guilt and mental unrest made him a target of Vecna.
Fred Benson, another Hawkins High student, was Vecna's next target. The previous year, Fred had crashed a car and accidentally caused his friend's death; Fred was haunted by survivor's guilt ever since, making him a perfect target for Vecna. Fred, like Chrissy, reported the curse's symptoms to Ms.
The final moments saw Peter transform into Vecna and become part of the Upside Down, with him slowly becoming the monster Max saw when he tried to possess her.
One Steals Eleven's Powers
Just as Henry could see into the minds of others, from the Upside Down Vecna can still see into people. The vines of the dark dimension, which have made their way to the real world, connect directly into his body.
One of the most important sequences in this episode featured Vecna showing Nancy the real circumstances of the “eyeball murders” in the 1950s, with flashbacks indicating that young Henry Creel murdered his family when his mother tried to get him psychological help and he intentionally framed his father Victor for the ...
Episodes. Virginia Creel, portrayed by Tyner Rushing, was a recurring character in the fourth season of Stranger Things. She was the wife of Victor Creel and the mother of Alice Creel and Henry Creel.
Jamie Campbell Bower plays 001 in Stranger Things 4.
He gets punished with electrocution after telling Eleven that Dr. Brenner lied to her about her mother dying during childbirth. He's smart enough to use an ostensibly harmless game of chess with Eleven to inform her Dr.
Guards, doctors, orderlies, and even the children. Peter is Henry and has telepathic powers, and when Brenner took him in, he controlled them with the implant. Peter tricked Eleven into taking them out, which allowed him to unleash his powers. He now wants to take Eleven with him, but she bravely tells him no.
Vecna hated humanity, believing human beings had imposed an artificial order upon the natural world.
And while his usual modus operandi is to embody his victims' negative self-talk (another very real psychological phenomenon), this time he is telling Nancy his plans and then releasing her so she can report back to everybody—Eleven included—that the end is nigh, with the goal of discouraging and disempowering them.
(All of which have been cited by show creators the Duffer brothers as inspirations for the villain.) But he does have a surprising weakness: music.
In the visions of her trauma induced by Vecna, Chrissy's mother appeared both mentally and emotionally abusive towards her daughter - and it's implied her comments about Chrissy's figure caused her daughter to develop her eating disorder.
