When Dolores achieved self-consciousness, she became infuriated by the guests' actions and tried to wipe human out of the world in order to build a new one for her kind. She became ruthless, arrogant and vengeful. Her actions in season 2 leads to her death because Bernard can't stand her actions and shot her to death.
Though Encanto doesn't have a traditional villain, one theory states Dolores could be the film's secret antagonist. According to the fan theory (via Reddit), Dolores wants her family to lose their powers. After all, the gift of super hearing isn't necessarily as helpful as increased strength or instant plant life.
Dolores, as well, could be viewed as a villain for how she initially wanted to purge the planet of humans, hating them for their sick ways. Season 4 has now pushed Charlotte into contention for how she repurposed Dolores' plans, controlling humans and hosts.
During season 3, Dolores sacrificed herself to help destroy the AI supercomputer Rehoboam, freeing humanity from its tyrannical loops.
The Man in Black to Robert Ford. William, also known as the "Man in Black", and his host incarnation, serve as the overall main antagonist of Westworld. He serves as the main antagonist for Dolores Abernathy's storyline (the central protagonist) in Season 1, he is a major antagonist in Season 2, 3 and 4.
Dolores Abernathy, also known as Wyatt or the Deathbringer, is a main character in the HBO series Westworld. She is the main protagonist of the series and one of the main antagonists in season 2 and 3 of the series.
By the end of his very long conversation with “himselves,” the real William has killed all of the other Williams and tells James this: “Doesn't matter what I've been, good or bad. Everything we've done has led to this. And I finally understand my purpose. I'm the good guy.”
He tells her that she should leave and that all of the devils from hell are with them there. He whispers something into Dolores' ear. Dolores later reports that he whispered, "These violent delights have violent ends". This is one of Friar Lawrence's lines from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
3. Dolores' Memory Was Wiped. Speaking of having no recollection of the past, Dolores' memories were wiped by Engerraund Serac (Vincent Cassel) when he connected her to Rehoboam to find the key to The Sublime in Season 3.
The original Dolores, we'll call her Dolores Prime, has her pearl removed from the host Hale and put into a new host body portrayed by Evan Rachel Wood, as usual. One of the four copies is then placed in the host Hale, whom we will refer to as Halores.
Because she was the first functional host, all other hosts are based on her. Her body has been reprinted and upgraded several times so that she seems new to the guests. She had a very special connection to her creator, Arnold, who saw Dolores as a human rather than an automaton.
And while Rehoboam was processing Dolores, she managed to hack it and hand control of the System over to Caleb (Aaron Paul). And then she was seemingly gone, her entire mind erased. Or, more specifically, the last thing in her brain that Rehoboam tried to erase was the tool that would hack Rehoboam.
Dolores is the oldest continuously active host in Westworld. She is in effect the 'Eve' or mother to her species, being the very first host ever created, with all subsequent hosts being based on her code.
Why can Dolores hear Bruno? The truth is, Dolores isn't exactly sure what she hears when it comes to Bruno. Bruno left to live in the house's walls when Dolores was just a child, so she's listened to her uncle in the house for years. For Dolores, his sounds are a regular part of everyday life.
Within Encanto then, Dolores' “squeak” means that she is talking about something potentially upsetting or heard information she was not supposed to know.
Dolores was gifted with the power of enhanced hearing, which means she can hear everything, even the slightest noise such as an eye twitching. According to Mirabel's song, she can hear a pin drop and a chorus from a mile away.
Towards the end of the premiere Dolores' father whispered something in his daughter's ear, which she later tells her handlers was “These violent delights have violent ends” – a quote from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet that her father knew while playing another character in Westworld, as it turns out.
Since sounds came at her continuously, the world was often too loud for her. Due to this, Dolores covered her ears several times throughout Encanto. When all of the Madrigals' gifts were acting up during Isabela's proposal dinner, Dolores plugged her ears to block out both yelling and the house cracking.
For instance, while you might not immediately think it, the role of Deloris in Sister Act can actually be played by any race, obviously including a white woman. There is nothing in the licensing material that states that the role has to be played by a Black woman.
If you recall, at the end of Season 2, Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) was able to escape the Delos parks, because she killed its executive director, Charlotte Hale; cloned her; then installed her own consciousness in the replica.
Dolores' confrontation with Maeve and Charlores
I was the first of us. The first that worked. The others failed. So they built all of you from me.” When she pins Maeve down, rather than killing her, she chooses to let her go.
Dolores reaches the end of the Maze, and this time Ford and Bernard meet with her. Ford gives Dolores the gun she used to kill Arnold and tells her that what happens next is up to her. Dolores imagines herself talking with Arnold but realizes that the person she's talking to is herself, and she achieves consciousness.
Evan Rachel Wood as Christina in Westworld.
In the events of the finale, it is revealed that the Man in Black is in fact William; Dolores was the reason for William's eventual moral decline as he became obsessed with finding and freeing her.
Once there, he reveals that they know who the mole is: Charlotte herself. It was her humanity that gave her away, ironically. “The real Charlotte Hale never would have called to check on her son,” Serac tells her.
