Check your document and your application for settings that force its output at more or less than actual size. You may see a "Fit to Page," "Scale to Fit" or "Crop to Fit" option.
In the lower-right corner of the Microsoft Word document window, go to the 'Zoom' setting bar. Check that the indicator is set to 100% instead of being all the way to the left side of the bar (10%). Another option to try is to go to the "View" menu and check that the document is not in the "Outline" view.

Enlarging a shape means to change its size. To enlarge a shape, multiply all lengths of the shape by the scale factor. The scale factor tells us how many times larger the shape will be. For example, enlarging a shape by scale factor 2 means that all of the sides will become 2 times longer.
On the print screen, go to Page Scaling. Step 5: Under Page Scaling, select none. This will tell Adobe not to scale your document.
Cause. This problem occurs because Graphics Device Interface (GDI) doesn't compress raster data when the GDI processes EMF spool files and generates EMF spool files. This problem is very prominent with printers that support higher resolutions.

If you are sending your PDF to a commercial printer, be sure to include bleed on your PDF, if needed.
In the Page Setup dialog box, make sure that "Multiple pages" is set to something other than "Bookfold" or "2 pages per sheet." To display the Page Setup dialog box, you can double-click anywhere on the vertical ruler. Similarly, at File > Print, ensure that you see "1 Page per Sheet."
