The Light on the Device Flashing
Some ELFBAR disposable vapes come with LED lights that let you know when the battery needs to be charged, or the e-liquid is running out. Your vape is almost empty if you see the light on your device flashing.
When your vape blinks a white light three-time, it means that it is in need of a charge! Make sure the device is fully turned-off before plugging it in. Simply locate your device's charging cable and charging port, plug the cable into the port and the port into a nearby wall outlet.
The Elf Bar disposable will blink its indicator light when it needs to be charged, but if you charge before the indicator light blinks, it will obviously take less time than waiting until the battery is totally drained.
A 2015 study found that vapers can take anywhere from less than 100 to up to 1,265 puffs per day. That means casual vapers might see their Elf Bar BC5000 last up to around two or so weeks. Meanwhile, heavier users might be able to use up theirs in 3-5 days.
The answer to this question of course depends on how frequently you vape. If you vape only once a day, your Elf Bar should last up to a fortnight. If you vape 2-3 times a day, you have less than a week before the e-liquid inside runs out.
Blinking 3 times can also mean that there is a short circuit or connection issue between the vape battery and vape cartridge – this typically is evidence of a vape cartridge that is burnt out or no longer working.
The charging port on the ELF BAR is dirty or damaged. If there is a buildup or debris in the port, it can prevent the charger from making a good connection to the battery. You can try cleaning the port with a cotton swab or other small object. If the port seems to be damaged, you will need to replace it.
Elf Bars take an average of 2 hours to fully charge. Use a USB to Type C cable charging cable and a 5v1a AC adapter to charge your Elf Bar. The indicator light will either turn off or turn from red to green when your vape is fully charged.
Based on our team's first-hand vaping experience, an Elf Bar 600 should last heavy vapers for around one day, and a casual vaper for at least two days, maybe three. An Elf Bar BC5000, advertised at 5000 puffs, will last heavy vapers up to a week and a casual vaper up to two weeks, maybe longer.
It's rated as a 6,000 puff disposable meaning you throw away the vape once all 15ml of e-juice has been vaped. As a heavy vaper who never goes longer than 10 minutes without a puff, I expected 4-5 days out of the Voltbar. What I found instead was a really impressive run time of 7-8 days!
Elf Bars come with a charge port and need to be charged here and there because they contain so much e-liquid that the battery would run out before you get through all of the juice.
It is recommended that you only use a charger made specifically for ELF BAR batteries, as overcharging can damage the battery.
If your Elf Bar is charging properly, though, there's no need to worry about whether you're charging it for the correct length of time. The light turns off when charging is complete. The process takes approximately one hour.
Since it only takes a few hours, we suggest you DO NOT charge your Elf Bar 5000 vape overnight. Doing so could harm the battery in the long term. Experts now recommend keeping lithium batteries between a 30% and 70% level of charge at all times to maximize the lifespan of the battery.
If blinking is constant or frequent, it means that the ELFBAR Vape is having battery issues. Replace the vape as soon as possible to avoid any damage done to the device.
First, check to make sure your battery is properly charged. If it is, then try tapping the side of the battery gently to see if you can get the light to come on. If not, then try removing and reinserting the battery.
Normally, mobile power or laptop power supply will be sufficient to charge the Elf Bar BC 5000. 8. It is possible that there is a problem with the internal parts of your Elf Bar unit, such as a bad contact with the battery wires, or that e-cigarette oil is leaking into the Elf Bar's battery.
The Elf Bar is designed to be draw-activated, meaning it is activated when you take a puff. However, if the battery is not properly activated, it can result in a lack of vapor production. Make sure you are taking slow and steady puffs, allowing the device to register your inhale and activate the battery.
Low Battery
A blinking of a vape pen is most commonly caused by battery issues. Check if your vape pen is fully charged – most pens will start blinking if your battery is low or dead. This is true for both reusable and disposable vapes. Usually, a vape pen blinks red when its battery is low.
If a disposable vape blinks when you try to use it, the battery is most likely dead. Many disposable vapes also have puff limiters to prevent overheating, though – so if your device cuts off and starts blinking during a very long puff, it simply means that you need to take shorter puffs.
How long does a 5000-puff vape last? A 4500-puff disposable vape or 5000-puff vape will last about 5-6 days. This is definitely towards the higher end of puff count for disposable devices. However, as we previously mentioned, this all depends on the frequency of use.
It's time to replace your Elf Bar if it no longer produces vapor when you puff – which indicates that it's out of vape juice – or if the battery blinks when you puff, which indicates that the battery is dead.
