After Rhaego's father,
Rhaego was the son of Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen. According to a Dothraki prophecy, he would have been the Stallion Who Mounts the World. He was stillborn after being involved in a blood magic ritual.
Rhaego was part-dragon only in the metaphorical sense. He was half-Targaryen.
Appearance. While he may have been born deformed, this was only due to blood magic performed by Mirri Maz Duur. In the first book, A Game of Thrones, Daenerys has a vision of him with copper skin, platinum blonde hair, and almond-shaped violet eyes.
Because of the prophecy, Daenerys believes she is barren. That's why she sees her dragons as her children and why Viserion's death affects her so deeply. As far as she knows, she will never give birth again, and her only family is a trio of dragons who came out of the fire with her.
Weiss. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and fans created alternative endings. This was until the studio released a production documentary on YouTube. It showed some deleted scenes from the show's finale, and one such shot was that of Daenerys Targaryen with a baby bump.
Laenor and Rhaenyra had three sons together: Princes Jacaerys 'Jace', Lucerys 'Luke', and Joffrey 'Joff' Velaryon. It was rumored that those sons of Rhaenyra's were actually fathered by her lover, Harwin Strong, called "Breakbones".
As such, Rhaenyra's baby in House of the Dragon wasn't born with greyscale, but rather a blood-related, Targaryen-specific dragon scale defect sometimes seen in their stillborn babies.
When finally did give birth to the baby, it is said that the child had a hole where her heart should have been, a tail, and scales for skin—a monster, as her mother had cursed her to be.
The shock of the loss of her father, combined with the Greens' ruthless betrayal sends her into early labor. Without modern medicine, a baby born so early had very little chance of survival in the best of circumstances - and in these terrible conditions the baby, a girl named Visenya, is stillborn.
One of the prophecies relates to three betrayals in Dany's story: Once for love, once for blood, and once for gold.
If this is true, then Daenerys's dragons—Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion—were descended from Dreamfyre, who is the only adult female dragon noted in the book to have laid eggs. She died during the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of Dragons.
After Rhaego's father, Drogo, becomes sick from an infected wound, the sorceress Mirri Maz Duur saves Drogo's life by using blood magic. One of the effects of that magic is that Rhaego dies right before birth. According to Mirri Maz Duur, he was inhuman, hideously deformed and covered in dragon-like scales.
In Season 1, Daenerys married Khal Drogo and became pregnant with their son, Rhaego. The child was stillborn, presumably due to Mirri Maz Duur's blood magic. The witch ultimately used Rhaego's life to help restore Drogo, who remained in a vegetative state and never recovered.

Rhaenrya takes the news of her son's death none too well. The look she gives the camera upon Daemon delivering the news suggests she is ready to burn Alicent's family alive. The Season 1 finale was named “The Black Queen,” and it seems that Rhaenyra is finally ready to take on that title.
Turns out, Rhaenyra and Daemon are endgame, meaning they have a sexually tense relationship, eventually hook up, and get married—which is pretty significant from a power play perspective considering (1) they both want the throne and (2) their Targaryen union is almost sure to guarantee that happens—even though Alicent ...
Daemon and Rhaenyra share two children together: Aegon III and Viserys II.
Those silver-haired freaks went there. Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) finally had sex on House of the Dragon. After teasing their deep connection for weeks, making out in a brothel, and flirting their way through King's Landing, uncle and niece at long last did the dirty.
Rhaenyra's children prove she had an affair, and Jon's very dark hair helped hide the fact he was a Targaryen until the final season. "It's just storytelling, it needs to be done to move a plot forward," he told Newsweek.
Rhaenyra and Daemon's sons Aegon, Viserys, and Visenya Targaryen. Sorry for the spoiler, but we did watch Daemon and Rhaenyra get married in last week's episode, so you probably knew this was coming! We haven't seen them yet in the show, but Daemon and Rhaenyra have three sons together.
So, who is the real father of Rhaenyra's children? In the show and in George R.R. Martin's Fire and Blood novel, it is heavily implied that Ser Harwin Strong, a knight and the captain of the City's Watch, is the true father of Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey.
It isn't explicitly stated in the show, but because we learn after episode six that all three boys have dark brown hair — and despite Rhaenyra and Laenor's matching blond color — it has been strongly implied that they are actually the children of Ser Harwin Strong, the Lord Commander of the City Watch.
The episode doesn't really beat around the bush when revealing that Harwin Strong (Ryan Corr) is the father of Rhaenyra's children. He's there soon after baby Joffrey is born so he can meet him, and later on in the episode Jacaerys (Leo Hart) even asks his mom if Harwin is his real dad.
