Although Angela (Elodie) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) are enemies in the series, she and Millie are friends in real life. She featured in television commercials for brands like NFL Playoffs, Invisalign and Irn-Bru.
When Angela got in trouble for destroying El's class project, Angela and her friends decided to get payback by humiliating El at the local roller rink. Following the incident, El finally lost her temper with Angela and struck her in the face, giving Angela a concussion; she was left overwhelmed and in pain.
Angela is Jake's girlfriend. He and Angela often bullied Eleven together.
But when she doesn't get it, she whacks Angela in the face with a rollerskate. If we're being real, Angela deserved kinda deserved it — not the violence, but the karma. But because Angela ends up concussed, Eleven gets arrested the next day.

Later, on the school campus, Angela trips Eleven down, causing her project to break. While making fun of her, Angela, her boyfriend, and the rest of the group destroy her project, Enraged, Eleven tries to use her powers against Angela, only to realize that nothing has happened.
He's a kid with a lot of emotions that he never learned how to express with words or say something as vulnerable as "I love you", and thus expresses his feelings with actions instead. The difference between Eleven and Mike is clear.

Why did El punch Angela? Everything comes to a head at the roller rink when Angela and her friends show up and publicly humiliate Eleven. After Angela makes a comment mocking Hopper's apparent death, El hits her in the face with a roller skate, which leads to a huge fight between El and Mike.
In his dying moments, Brenner deactivates Eleven's collar. Ultimately, on some deeply messed up and fundamentally irredeemable level, he did care for her. Although Brenner was an abusive monster, it's still traumatic for Eleven to see her “papa” die.
While fans have speculated whether these two are truly meant to be, Season 4 made it clear that Mike loves Eleven, and Eleven will go to lengths to impress her boyfriend.
They were different because Max had more of a tomboy look and Eleven had no hair. Even though her hair was short, she was not a tomboy. Max is more of a tomboy because she was always seen riding a skateboard and Eleven did not. Eleven and Max have some personality similarities and differences.

However, Mike and El's break-up being played for laughs was one of the biggest missteps in the season, as Mike's boorish season 3 persona led El to drop him for being overbearing.
