There are no limits to what God can do (Matthew 19:26.). He is omnipotent. All powerful. God set up a system to forgive us here and now, not afterward, and that's the way it is.
Some have promoted the idea of a second chance after death. But the Bible does not indicate that people get an opportunity to repent or to put faith in Jesus after they die. Hebrews 9:27 says, “People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.”
One eternal or unforgivable sin (blasphemy against the Holy Spirit), also known as the sin unto death, is specified in several passages of the Synoptic Gospels, including Mark 3:28–29, Matthew 12:31–32, and Luke 12:10, as well as other New Testament passages including Hebrews 6:4–6, Hebrews 10:26–31, and 1 John 5:16.
"Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." "For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive."
In the Book of Matthew (12: 31-32), we read, "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
Seventy-seven times. That's how many times the Bible tells us we should forgive someone. Matthew 18: 21-22 21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
We are forgiven as we accept the mercy offered by Jesus Christ. It is in this way that our natures can be changed. In ancient times, the rituals and sacrifices of the law of Moses pointed the Israelites to the Savior's Atonement.
Christians who know and love each other on earth will know and love each other in heaven.
HAVING RELATIONSHIPS WITH SPOUSES, LOVED ONES IN HEAVEN
A. Yes to both. The reunion will take place, but not as husband and wife. We learn this in Jesus' explanation to the Sadducees: "When people rise from death, there will be no marriage.
We enter heaven immediately upon our death, or our souls sleep until the second coming of Christ and the accompanying resurrection.
Therefore, when others ask, “Can a Christian commit the unpardonable sin?” the clearest answer is “no,” because to be a follower of Jesus is to believe and accept the testimony of the Spirit – that Christ is Lord – which is the exact opposite of the Pharisees' response.
THE ANSWER IS YES!!! When Jesus died on the cross, he paid the penalty of sin for all who believe in him. He died for your past, present and future sin. Please note, I'm not saying if you are saved, nothing you do matters and you can sin all you want because you are going to heaven anyway.
Your heart no longer beats, your breath stops and your brain stops functioning. Studies suggest that brain activity may continue several minutes after a person has been declared dead. Still, brain activity isn't the same as consciousness or awareness. It doesn't mean that a person is aware that they've died.
Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 6:1, “Since we are God's coworkers, we urge you not to let God's kindness be wasted on you” (GW). God's done so much for you. He's forgiven your sins. He's given you more than one second chance.
Many Christians rely on Matthew 22:30, in which Jesus tells a group of questioners, "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.”
But whether your marriage is made in heaven or on earth, it is recognized in heaven because it was solemnized in the church. All parties, therefore, have a responsibility to make it work. I have said it before; only one spouse cannot make a marriage work, no matter how good he/she is.
The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Hyperion.
The pets that we had to say goodbye to are alive in heaven right now in their spiritual bodies and we will see them again if we accept Jesus as our Savior. Your Pet Is Not Gone Forever.
Enoch, Noah's great grandfather (Genesis 5:22–24) Elijah (2 Kings 2:11) Serah, daughter of Asher, son of Jacob (Midrash Yalkut Shimoni (Yechezkel 367)) Eliezer, the servant of Abraham who chose Rebecca to be Isaac's wife.
Jesus said, “Seventy times seven.” In other words, there is no limit to his forgiveness, and there should be no limit to ours.
God's forgiveness always effects a restored relationship. Forgiveness involves the reconciling of two people—one who repents and the other who forgives. I believe, as a pastor, that it is a great mistake to tell people that they must forgive where there is no repentance.
When things go wrong, I sometimes feel so ashamed that I can't help but wonder: does God forgive everything? The short answer is yes. God forgave King David after committing murder and adultery. Jesus prayed for the forgiveness of the people who crucified Him, and He forgave Peter for denying Him.
Day 1 – Read Daniel 9:9God will forgive you no matter what you have done. He knows what you have done wrong, and Jesus has provided a way for you to be forgiven of your sins. God will not only forgive, but He will forget.
— J.F.D. Rev. Graham: Only one sin that can't be forgiven is on God's list — and that is the sin of rejecting Him and refusing His offer of forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ. This alone is the unforgivable sin, because it means we are saying that the Holy Spirit's witness about Jesus is a lie (see Luke 12:10).
