A chain of smaller, pale blue gemstones hangs from each side of this headdress, framing his face, and he also wears what looks to be red eye make-up around his left eye, consisting of alternating large and small dots that run inwards, towards his eye.
Tengen also wears a white head wrap covering his hair as well as a large grey headband adorned with 3 large and 3 small gemstones. After retiring he is seen wearing a patterned yukata and a black haori with a black eyepatched adorned with gemstones covering his left eye.
With the loss of his left hand and left eye, Tengen Uzui decides to retire after his battle with Daki and Gyutaro. He is the second Hashira to retire due to being disabled. The first Hashira to retire from this was Jigoro Kuwajima, Zentisu's master and the former Thunder Hashira.
This unique mark appears on the body of a powerful demon slayer and appears to be a tattoo or a birthmark that reflects the breathing style that they use. Once it appears on a demon slayer, it is an indication that they've achieved incredible power beyond their normal limits.
i know, though, some believe he loves hina (21) the most, because he had the most interaction with her in the manga and they have the most “husband-and-wife” feel. we also have to remember that suma (19) was tengen's first chosen wife—they both personally agreed to letting hina and makio (20) into their relationship.
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
Tengen Uzui's clear admiration for Kyojuro Rengoku, as well as his high praise for Gyomei Himejima and Muichiro Tokito, is the only real clue that the audience has gotten about how the Hashira feel about one another.
The core components of a Demon Slayer's strength comes down to one's Breathing Style, battle IQ, and physical strength. These are even more important for those at the Hashira level, who will likely combat Kizuki rank demons regularly. In these three regards, Tengen Uzui is far from the weakest Hashira.
If he was to survive, these extremely bad wounds will force him to retire and he will never fight again. // Tengen would still lose his eye and arm. Tanjiro was completely helpless against Gyutaro without Tengen, which was why he had to 1v1 him and got his hand sliced.
Yet, Rengoku's fight to the death, in which he was protecting his fellow demon slayers, did not result in him awakening a mark of his own. The argument could be made that only those with a sufficient skill level and latent power can produce a mark.
Tengen is one of the only known Demon Slayer and Hashira to retire due to being permanently disabled instead of death or age, the other being Jigoro Kuwajima.
Gyutaro manages to poison Tengen during the fight, preventing him from decapitating the Demon. After they finally manage to bring down the Demon siblings, Tengen ends up losing his left hand and eye in the process.
While the anime shows some positive aspects of Tengen's polygamous marriage, his wives quickly become damsels in distress. Bringing a polygamous relationship into a contemporary anime has its risks.
His nails are two different colors because he has his wives pick the colors. Makio wanted him to paint them red, but Suma & Hina disagreed and wanted him to paint them green, so he just painted them both colors to prevent them from disagreeing even more.
Tengen is a very tall, broad-set young man with a heavy, muscular, lightly tanned skin frame. His hair is white and of uneven length, the longest waves touching his shoulders and is cut with three more prominent, shorter clumps, arching above his eyes on either side of his face to fall as bangs.
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness.
Demon Slayer's Tengen Uzui is considered to be one of the weakest Hashira due to almost losing this fight, but the fact is that Tengen only looks weak when compared to the most overpowered Hashira.
Makio. Makio is a distant cousin of Tenzen Uzui. She is the middle wife by age and is considered violent, brash, and boisterous at times. When it comes to Suma, Makio has little or no patience for her as she berates Suma for being cowardly, as seen when the wives fought an underground cavern.
Well, you'd be delighted to know that Tengen Uzui doesn't die fighting against Gyutaro and Daki. However, the Sound Hashira does die in the manga, but that happens far in the future. In the manga, the fight between Uzui and the sibling demons gets ruthless, and Tengen gets badly injured from Gyutaro's poisoned sickles.
7 The Love Hashira - Mitsuri Kanroji
Kanroji first joined the Demon Slayer Corps not to improve on her own fighting abilities, but to find a suitable husband, as she believes her husband must be stronger than she is.
The Insect Pillar of Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu is undeniably the smartest individual. She might not be physically stronger than others, but her intelligence is what kept her going. Shinobu is proficient in medical knowledge and can also create poisons out of wisteria flowers that are lethal to demons.
Makio is actually a distant cousin of Tengen's. Makio's name contains solely the hiragana for "ma" (ま, "ma"?), "ki" (き, "ki"?) and "wo" (を, "wo"?) respectively.
Who is Rengoku girlfriend? Mitsuri Kanroji. The two of them share a gluttonous side and enjoyed snacking on their breaks. Mitsuri derived her own unique Breathing Style, Love Breathing, from his Flame Breathing.
When the two originally meet, Zenitsu develops a disdain for Tengen after he attempted to kidnap the girls of the Butterfly Mansion, and due to his flamboyant personality, even referring to him as the "god of idiots." Tengen's frivolous attitude doesn't sit well with Zenitsu's character and often annoys him.
