Air fry pizza for 7 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit until you see a golden brown crispy crust and the cheese has melted. Top with extra basil, cheese, and red pepper flakes just before serving to add additional flavor.
Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees. Place the frozen pizza in the air fryer and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, until pizza is hot and cheese has melted. Remove the pizza from the air fryer and enjoy!
And all I can say is…air frying pizza is a game changer. Not only does the pizza cook more quickly, but you get that perfectly crispy bottom crust that can be difficult to achieve in a traditional oven.
Place the pizza in the air fryer, and cook at 375 C / 180 C for 8 minutes, or until the crust is golden. Add mozzarella chunks or burrata chunks on top of the pizza base and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Remove the pizza from the air fryer, allow it to cool slightly, and serve.
An air fryer is simply a small oven that runs on convection heat. The heat is circulated around a tight space by a powerful fan that lies just below or behind the heating element. Just as in a standard oven, it is perfectly safe to use aluminum foil in the air fryer.
The best oven temperature for pizza is between 450 and 500 degrees F (250 to 260 degrees C).
No More soggy crust
Results are always soggy, half cooked pizza dough. The concept of the air fryer is to cook food hot and fast, but if you don't pre-cook the dough first then you get soggy crusts. So we've figured out the issue and learn that air frying the raw dough first then adding the toppings is WAY better.
So we suggest spraying a light layer of oil on top of the pizza. That way as the crust cooks, the toppings won't burn. Larger air fryers often take a little more time to heat up, so you'll have to factor this into your total time. But we still recommend at starting around 6 minutes, then adding more time if needed.
The Power XL Air Fryer Grill has an inner capacity of 930 cubic inches, which is large enough to bake a 12" round pizza or roast a 10-lb. chicken.
Air fryers work by circulating hot air, which originates at the bottom of the fryer. Lining it with foil can constrict the air flow and your food won't cook properly. If you are going to use aluminum foil in an air fryer, use a small amount in the bottom of the basket, making sure not to cover the food.
It's also a more sustainable option than lining your air fryer with aluminum foil. Lining your air fryer basket with a round of parchment paper is the perfect way to keep your air fryer squeaky clean and slash the time it takes to clean up.
Pizza size: Most air fryers won't fit a full-size pizza, in that case I recommend mini pizzas or slicing the pizza. See guide below for cook times for different sizes of pizza.
An air fryer basket within the 6- to 10-quart size range will provide enough room to roast a whole chicken, a whole pizza and pounds of finger foods.
Don't stack.
The pizza should be in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If it's stacked, you may end up with cold spots or soggy pizza.
– For the best pizza base we recommend using fan assist (fan with top and bottom elements) at 220°C. The fan ensures the hot air is circulated, whilst the bottom element assists with crisping the base and the top element browning the cheese and cooking toppings.
The oven relies on high heat for cooking pizza and this can sometimes dry it out the top, leaving the bottom of the pizza soft or soggy. The air fryer makes up for the lower temperature by circulating the air. This leads to a crispy crust and perfectly cooked pizza all the way around!
