But what about someone who was mostly out for themselves? Yes, even Spider-Man has been worthy of holding the hammer of
One version of Spider-Man 2099 stands above the others, however, eventually becoming a vital savior to his entire timeline. As a result, he was able to even become worthy enough to lift Mjolnir, Thor's enchanted hammer.
Although he was worthy to lift Mjolnir, Miguel did not transform while wielding its power. He eventually realized that meant he was to become a different kind of warrior and leader.
Mjolnir is practically synonymous with Thor's identity. It is his weapon of choice, as well as the object that tells him if he is truly worthy. After all, the hammer cannot be wielded by any living being, unless they are deemed worthy enough to lift it.
Genetically imprinted with spider DNA, Miguel has superhuman strength (lifting 10 tons under optimal conditions), speed, stamina, reflexes and agility, and enhanced durability. He can jump up to 30 feet. He has enlarged canine teeth (fangs) which can secrete paralyzing venom.
Cosmic Spider-Man is undoubtedly the most powerful variation of the character. In the Acts of Vengeance storyline, Peter absorbs a mysterious power known as the Enigma Force.
Weaknesses: Optical Photosensitivity: Because of Miguel's accelerated vision and ability to see in the dark, his eyes are known to be extremely sensitive to light.
Other Marvel characters have lifted Mjolnir not through worthiness but through technicalities such as absorbing Thor's powers, including the Air-Walker, Awesome Android, Magneto, Rogue, Wonder Man, and Doctor Doom.
In Norse mythology, the hammer Mjolnir is simply too heavy for anyone other than Thor to lift, but over the centuries, the story evolved and even super-strong entities couldn't lift the weapon.
Loki just might be the most unworthy character to ever lift Mjolnir. The trickster god practically made it his life's mission to make Thor miserable. The sight of Loki lifting his brother's famed hammer would be quite jarring.
Venom (2020)
During this battle, Venom (Eddie Brock) was given the powers of Captain Universe, and was able to wield the hammer. However, Venom took this advantage a step further by merging Mjolnir with the Silver Surfer's surfboard to create an even greater weapon.
Daredevil could be proven worthy. Though, at the same time, he makes serious mistakes, has problems with trust, doesn't always tell the truth. As much as he is a good character, his vigilante nature dictates his character as a liar. That attribute might not be a good one to make it worthy of the Mjolnir.
It turns out the enchantment on Mjolnir preventing the unworthy from picking up the hammer had broken. While Thor granted Adam the chance to fly in his transformed state, Adam surrendered the power back to Thor willingly. Adam might not have been worthy, but it was certainly in good hands.
Despite his strong moral sensibility and strength of character, Peter lacks the ruthlessness that destroys all evil. For this slight defect in character, Mjolnir will never find this Spider-Man worthy of it.
Venom Is Truly Worthy.
This is by far the most simple explanation, as it is in keeping with how Mjolnir has been used by other heroes besides Thor and Odin over the years.
Mjolnir's ability to absorb energy is so powerful he managed to absorb, contain and redirect the entire energy of the Null Bomb, which was powerful enough to destroy the entire galaxy, absorb mystical energies, such as Pluto's mystic flame.
And Mathaudhu can cite documentary sources to back him up. For example, Marvel – which publishes the Thor comics – issued a “Thor's Hammer” trading card in 1991 that states Mjolnir is made of Uru and weighs precisely 42.3 pounds. That's lighter than a herd of 300 billion mice, much less a herd of 300 billion elephants.
The hammer Stormbreaker is very similar to Mjolnir, made of mystic Uru metal and is nearly indestructible. Worthiness: Just like the original Mjolnir, no one can lift Stormbreaker who is not worthy.
Why is this such a big deal? Well, for starters, the hammer in question, Mjolnir, can only be wielded by those who are considered “worthy,” a little mystical insurance policy put on it by Thor's dad, Odin. It's pretty cool to see the Avenger who is the purest of heart officially deemed “worthy” of the weapon of a god.
For a time, Masterson became Thor's new civilian identity, and the first human to wield Mjolnir on a regular basis. He quickly became known as "The Everyman Avenger."
The firstborn child of Odin, Hela, wielded the power of Mjølnir before it ever came into Thor's possession. Hela used the weapon when she fought alongside Odin on their quest to conquer the Nine Realms.
Avengers: Marvel's FIRST Black Panther Was ALSO Able to Wield Thor's Mjolnir.
Green Goblin
The strongest, and arguably the most cruel, of all the Spider-Man villains that MCU Peter Parker has faced. With the combination of advanced military tech and super soldier serum, the malice that Green Goblin puts forward is unparalleled with any other villain.
