If Ryan picks "dare", Emma will dare him to kiss either Kaitlyn or Dylan. After expressing mild disappointment that he can't kiss them both, he must choose.
Picking TRUTH causes Emma to ask Ryan about his conversation with Mr. Hackett in the latter's office. Ryan can approach this question in two different methods: Mischievous: Ryan will tell everyone a ridiculous story about the Hag of Hackett's Quarry.
For example, choosing to kiss Kaitlyn will leave Ryan somewhat disappointed at the missed opportunity. Kaitlyn kissing Ryan is much like Dylan's response: a polite yet earnest peck on the lips. This is understandable for both parties, as their admitted crush on Ryan is given a chance to bloom.
Since the lodge has a broken door, the other counselors can sneak in and hide without issue, which causes the monsters to focus on the hut instead. It is still possible to save Dylan if the monster bites his hand by using Ryan to amputate it before the infection spreads.
While the counselors play Truth or Dare around the fire, you can pick either option while playing Ryan. If you choose Dare, Ryan will be told to kiss Dylan or Kaitlyn. If you choose Dylan, the two will share a quick kiss.
On the rooftop, during their conversation, players will be given the option to hug or kiss Ryan. Hugging Ryan essentially expresses disinterest and lets him down easy, so, this is the time to seal the partnership with a kiss.
When can Dylan get infected? The first chance for Dylan to get infected is during Chapter Five. If the door to Cabin 10 was broken into in Chapter One by Abigail and Emma, then Dylan will get bitten by a werewolf on his hand while reaching for a wire. Do not cut off his hand, and he will stay infected.
Laura Kearney
Although she has at least four potential deaths in Chapters 9 and 10, the awesome female horror game protagonist Laura's inextricable link with Ryan makes her survival more difficult than many.
You will be given the choice of whether you want to cut off his hand to stop the infection. Make sure you choose the “Desperate” option when you are prompted after Dylan is bitten to cut off his hand to save his life. You will also get the Just a Flesh Wound Achievement.
During Silas' attack on the radio hut, Dylan gets his left arm bitten, which prompts Ryan to possibly amputate it. It will then be bandaged by Kaitlyn.
He is responsible and the owner of the Hackett's Quarry, Chris Hackett, fully trusts him. He is also charming despite his loner vibe and was voted the most attractive counselor by Bunk 7, and both Dylan and Kaitlyn have a crush on him.
If we kiss him, the exchange between Nick and Abi will end, starting the next part of the scene (you can skip to it here). However, if we don't kiss him, we'll get a little more dialogue that fleshes out Abi and Nick's relationship while still getting the option to kiss him later.
Kaitlyn will dare Emma to kiss either Jacob or Nick. Jacob confidently declares that Emma would choose him, but she instead chooses Nick, much to Jacob's shock. As they kiss for a long time, Jacob gets increasingly infuriated and yells at them. After the kiss, Emma thanks Nick and tells Abi that he was good.
Sadly, while Dylan is reaching for the cable, the werewolf bites his hand, thus infecting him. In a desperate state, Dylan tells Ryan to cut his hand as the infection is spreading too fast. Pick the DESPERATE dialogue option then choose the CHAINSAW to cut the hand.
Ryan Erzahler
Ryan can be infected in Chapter 8 when he accepts Laura's bite after learning that without becoming a werewolf, he can die of blood loss. Ryan never turns into a werewolf as he either kills Chris the werewolf and is cured or is killed by Chris.
In short, there is no one true ending in The Quarry, as the game encourages you to test different choices and decisions throughout alternate playthroughs as you attempt to seek out as many of the 186 ending variations as possible.
Nick. Nick and Abigail both have crushes each other at the beginning of the game, but are too shy to make any move.
In the interest of ultimately keeping Dylan alive, Ryan will have to blow his hand off with the shotgun. Not ideal, but Dylan will survive. Of course, if you chose differently with regards to the cabin, Dylan survives and doesn't lose his hand.
Make it to Silas and break the curse
Finally, when given the option to kill or spare Silas, have Laura break the curse by shooting the creature. This will mean any characters who remain infected will be cured and freed. And that's how you end up getting the best ending in The Quarry.
A boisterous frat boy type who all but incited the entire murder spree to start the game, Jacob Custos (Zach Tinker) is easily the least likable camp counselor. He's loud, brash, obnoxious, does not listen or heed any advice, and as a result of his ignorance, has at least eight potential deaths in the game.
Silas Vorez is the main antagonist of The Quarry. He is a unique werewolf that prowls the forest, attacking or infecting nearly anyone he comes across, also cursing others to become werewolves themselves.
1. Laura Kearney. On top of the list of the best characters on The Quarry, we have Laura Kearney. A veterinary medical student voiced by Siobhan Williams, who goes through a series of mayhem as a result of trusting Max, her boyfriend.
When Ryan is given the option to shoot Dylan's hand off with a shotgun or use a nearby chainsaw, the absolute best option is to use the chainsaw. The shotgun blast is not guaranteed to lift the lycanthropic curse but the chainsaw will, allowing both characters to survive and move on.
Didn't Release the Gun
Regardless of the choice, Kaitlyn will tell Jacob that they're keeping the gun to defend Nick. He'll get angry at the campers and storm off to find Emma. Meanwhile, Jacob will pitch the idea of wheeling Nick back to the lodge using the wheelbarrow.
Infecting Dylan In Chapter Five Or Eight
Do not cut off his hand, and he will stay infected. The second chance for Dylan to be infected depends on whether Emma has successfully been infected. If she has been, then werewolf Emma will bite Dylan in Chapter Eight.
