Karkaroff turned in several other Death Eaters in the Wizengamot, and thanks to his testimony, his crimes were pardoned. Karkaroff went on to later success, as he became the headmaster at Durmstrang.
On the face of things, Severus Snape was a very good Death Eater and servant to Lord Voldemort. His information helped the Dark Lord come to the decision to murder Harry, Lily, and James Potter while it was he who carried out the killing of Albus Dumbledore on top of the Astronomy Tower during the Half Blood Prince.
Bellatrix Lestrange (née Black) is the first female Death Eater introduced in the books. Aunt of Draco Malfoy and Nymphadora Tonks. She was introduced in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She is the most faithful member of Voldemort's inner circle.
Travers. Travers pops up several times throughout the series. He is often one of the most vocal Death Eaters about his vitriol toward everyone but pure-blooded wizards. He proved useful in battles, capturing Ginny Weasley in the Department of Mysteries and dueling students in the Battle of Hogwarts.
Strongest: Corban Yaxley. Corban Yaxley was one of Voldemort's favorite servants. He was often chosen to go on secret missions for the Dark Lord, including the attempt to convert Horace Slughorn. Yaxley was proficient at coercion, manipulation, and the Imperius Curse.
Rowling commented that "The moment Draco got what he thought he wanted, to become a Death Eater, and given a mission by Lord Voldemort, as he did in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, reality finally hit him" because his dream was "so very different".
Bellatrix was the first female Death Eater introduced in the books. Bellatrix had a fanatic obsession with the Dark Lord although she was clearly fearful of his magical abilities and absolute power over his forces.
Of all of the Death Eaters that appear in Harry Potter, there's no doubt that Bellatrix is the most evil. In addition to the fact that she was selflessly devoted to Voldemort and his mission (in fact, she was obsessed with him), she also showed that there was no depth of cruelty or malice to which she would not sink.
Bellatrix is one of the most evil characters in the Harry Potter franchise, along with Voldemort and Dolores Umbridge, being ultimately pure evil.
There were a few members of the Death Eaters that Voldemort valued above others. Of course, Bellatrix and Snape were easily his favorites, but the Carrow siblings were up there as well. There are many instances that prove that Voldemort appreciated Amycus and Alecto Carrow.
It is interesting also to note that Harry does not actually kill Pettigrew, but that Voldemort's gift kills him despite Harry's efforts to save him. Pettigrew's death is a reaction to his own attempt to kill, or at least, disable Harry, coupled with Voldemort's distrust of his own lieutenant.
Rowle. Another Death Eater, Thorfinn Rowle was described as big and blond and got into trouble with Voldemort when Harry, Ron and Hermione escaped his clutches in central London in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Six members out of the original 20 people in the organization known as the Order of the Phoenix were women. There are a total of 31 Death Eaters who have been named, although only two of them are women. Unfortunately, the well-liked series doesn't exactly have a sterling record for equitable gender representation.
Severus Snape - His allegiance was obviously in other places, and if Voldemort had ceded power, I think Snape was 2nd in command for most of the 2nd Wizarding War.
If money is power, Lucius Malfoy is the most powerful man in the Wizarding World. Unfortunately, as the later books show us, money is in fact not power and Lucius suffers immensely despite his ludicrous wealth. Lucius ends up such a weak Death Eater, he has his wand stripped from him.
He did not love anyone, and did not care to be loved. He felt nothing for his family, and only wanted his friends in school to rally around him because he wanted to hold power over them. Bellatrix Lestrange was obviously in love with him and worshiped him, but he only cared for her servitude, not her.
2 Lord Voldemort Lord Voldemort is a fictional character and the central main antagonist in J. K. Rowling's series of Harry Potter novels. Voldemort first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which was released in 1997. He wanted to be the N1 in wizarding world.
Hermione stunned Rabastan and his head fell into the bell jar and rapidly turned into a baby and then back into a grown man and then back to a baby. Rabastan was able to pull his head out, but he was incapacitated as a grown man's body with a baby's head.
This theory suggests that each time he created a new Horcrux, that specific Horcrux diminished a part of his soul. Thus, his nose began to sink in, eventually disappearing altogether. Due to his tampering with dark magic, his human appearance evolved into a more snake-like state.
Harry describes Umbridge to Sirius Black, saying that she's vile enough to be a Death Eater, despite not being one. Umbridge is also depicted to be a prejudiced person, despising half-breeds and Muggle-born witches and wizards to the point of firing Hagrid due to his half-giant birth status.
The Malfoys are able to avoid serving time in Azkaban, as they provide evidence that helps the Ministry track down the Death Eaters who had fled after the war. It is also probable that, since Narcissa's lie to Voldemort saved Harry's life, the family is pardoned for their crimes.
Draco Malfoy's mother Narcissa was cold, cunning and devoted to the Dark Lord. But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
Due to his humiliation in the Triwizard Tournament, Cedric eventually becomes a Death Eater and kills Neville Longbottom.
