1. INTP. INTPs are the winner of the most intelligent personality type. They are highly analytical and logical, and they are always looking for new ways to improve systems and solve problems.
One finding I found quite interesting was that of the 5 personality types with the highest overall EQ score, three preferred Feeling and two preferred Thinking. In fact the top 2 were ENTJ and ESTJ ! (followed by ENFJ, ESFP, and ENFP).
With a score of 198, Evangelos Katsioulis, MD, MSc, MA, PhD, has the highest tested IQ in the world, according to the World Genius Directory. The Greek psychiatrist also has degrees in philosophy and medical research technology.
There are four: INFJ, INFP, ENFJ, and ENFP types are the most intuitive out of the 16 various personality types. An INFJ is a rare personality type. They're soft-spoken people who have strong opinions and ideas. They are creative and imaginative, smart and passionate, and really great at making connections with others.
INFP and INFJ: The Overthinkers
When it comes to these types, their anxiety can stem from an inclination to overthinking.
ISTPs are the most unpredictable of the 16 personality types, because they're typically rational and logical, but can also be enthusiastic and spontaneous.
ENFJs take the crown for the most manipulative personality type. ENFJs have high emotional intelligence and strong intuition. These combined make them very good at reading people and understanding their needs. This is one of ENFJs greatest strengths.
ISTJs often have excellent memories, since they have a knack for recalling details. Once the ISTJ attempts to absorb information they will be very skilled at retaining it for a long time. ISTJs have incredible memories most of the time, especially for details they have learned in the past.
ENTJs make good leaders because of their innate ability to direct groups of people, according to Isabel Briggs Myers and Peter B. Myers, authors of “Gifts Differing: Understanding Personality Type.” They tend to be self-driven, motivated, energetic, assertive, confident and competitive.
Introverted Feeling (Fi), by contrast, is an intrapersonal function. Whenever possible, it prefers to handle emotional issues inwardly and independently. This is why ISFPs, who use Fi as their dominant function, are among the least talkative of all types.
They're probably ISFJs, who feel super uncomfortable with the prospect of hurting anyone's feelings. "They tend to be wallflowers and can sometimes stumble over their words," says Owens. They'll likely skip the inflammatory family dinner conversation—even if they're Zooming in from thousands of miles away.
According to the MBTI® Manual, ISFPs were the type most likely to get upset or angry and show it, as well as the type most likely to get upset or angry and not show it.
The INFJ. The INFJ is one of the rarest and most misunderstood personality types. These types are often seen as mysterious, daydreamy, and even confusing.
The ENTP. ENTPs are usually seen as energetic, curious, and spontaneous.
ENTJ. People who are extroverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging are among the most confident, according to Coulston. "ENTJs are highly confident and have excellent leadership skills as their dominant extroverted thinking traits make them effectiveness oriented," she says.
Which MBTI loves themselves the most? According to Truity Psychometrics, on personality trait scales, ENTPs score as most likely to be resourceful, friendly, independent, and self-centered.
INTP. As one of the most logic-based personality types, INTPs can be blind to the needs of others. Where INTPs slip us is when they are completely absorbed in their own imaginations. They tend to be insensitive and hyper critical of other people and this means they're not always fun to be around.
Perhaps the most sensitive of all the personality types, INFJs take it hard when someone they trust lets them down. They tend to hold on to anger longer than they should and are capable of holding a grudge even when the other person has apologized, repeatedly, for their wrongdoing.
The INFP may be the toughest personality type of all for others to understand. They are seemingly easy-going and carefree, but when it comes to their values, they can become suddenly uncompromising. They're friendly to a fault, but they frequently find others hard to be around.
Intuitive Thinking personality types are the most likely of all of the types to be argumentative, according to research led by Donald Loffredo, Ed. D, at the University of Houston. ENTJs in particular tended to score as highly argumentative.
People with avoidant personality disorder are afraid of being rejected, criticized, or embarrassed and thus avoid situations where they may experience such reactions.
According to MBTI, the most logical personality type is the Logician, or INTP. INTPs are often curious, analytical, and open-minded. They may seem like they are constantly lost in a daydream, but that's because their own mind keeps them busy most of the time.
Perceiving (P) personality types, particularly those who are also Intuitives (N), are often painted as the worst procrastinators.
ENFPs are definitely obsessive people when it comes to the things they truly enjoy. ENFPs will dive into new things in hopes of discovering something that can inspire them. When they do find certain hobbies or activities that they really enjoy, the ENFP will want to hold onto them.
