During the First Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Grand Master Yoda led a squad of clone troopers. The troopers were part of a regiment that rescued the Jedi assault team in the Petranaki Arena.
Gree, who was loyal to the Republic, and not Jedi, complied and turned around to kill his general. Before he could shoot the Jedi master, Yoda dodged the fire and decapitated him, killing Gree.

Baby Yoda's name is Grogu. His name was not revealed until Season 2 Episode 5, "Chapter 13: The Jedi." Prior to then, Grogu was referred to by several names in the show.

Yoda's History Makes It Even More Likely Grogu Will Be Part Of Rey's Jedi Order. Grogu's journey as a Jedi is starting to look similar to Yoda's, meaning he might become a Jedi Master in Rey's New Jedi Order Star Wars movie.
It was believed that Grogu would eventually become a victim of Kylo Ren's destruction of Luke's Jedi Order. However, The Book of Boba Fett revealed that Grogu chose to follow the Way of the Mandalorian rather than become a Jedi, sparing him from Kylo Ren's wrath.
The Dark Side of the Force is just a prerequisite, but one has to learn a lot about their philosophy and embrace it. Where would Grogu have learned that? Nowhere, really, which is why he definitely isn't a Sith Lord.

Joruus C'bath was a clone of the Jorus C'baoth, a Jedi Knight from the time of the Galactic Republic who died just before the Clone Wars. However, due to still unknown reasons, part of his genetic material was taken by the Emperor to make a clone of him.
While fans don't know the state of Grogu's well-being in the sequel trilogy, his ties to Mandalore might explain why Kylo Ren doesn't kill him. It's likely Grogu stays with Din Djarin and the Mandalorians, and never returns to embark on his training with Luke.
Who Saved Grogu From Order 66? As depicted in "Chapter 20: The Foundling," Grogu was rescued from the attack on the Jedi Temple by Jedi Master Kelleran Beq. Beq completed the daring escape that got Grogu to safety, then escaped the attack with his life.
Grogu Was Saved By a New Character
Yet the Jedi is not a household name, and not someone anybody likely suspected. The door opens to reveal that it is Jedi Master Kelleran Beq standing there, and he helps get Grogu to safety and off Coruscant.
Luke Skywalker eventually had the lightsaber in his possession after Yoda's death in 4 ABY. Five years later, he offered the weapon to Grogu in a choice against obtaining beskar armor. However, Grogu chose the beskar armor over the lightsaber and went back to Din Djarin.
The second time Yoda mentions his long life is in Return of the Jedi, when he tells Luke, “When you reach 900 years old, you will not look as good as you will.” If we take Yoda at his word, that means the Jedi Master died at the ripe old age of 900.
