Hulk has traditionally been seen as the strongest Avenger physically — and for good reason, though he's been subdued by both Iron Man and Thor.
Hercules / Zeus
While not cosmic (none of that on this list!), he can survive the vacuum of space and resist cosmic attacks. He ranks above Thor here because he's technically the stronger of the two. In fact, he is considered by many authorities to be the physically strongest character Marvel has ever created.
Kang is stronger than Thanos, with the Conquerer being much more challenging to defeat than the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding villain.
The winner of this fight would be Thanos based on his superior brute strength, and raw powers. However, if Thor uses some clever strategies, he could defeat the villain, especially since he has access to more powerful weapons and techniques.
The Asgardian Son of Odin was extremely close to ending Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. After gaining the powerful weapon Stormbreaker, Thor becomes the wielder of the most powerful weapon in the universe. Stormbreaker is capable of killing Thanos outright, and only Thor is currently worthy of wielding it.
Captain America's an expert strategist in just about any situation, a whiz at hand-to-hand combat, and a master of defending himself and those around him. Captain America has it all, and his versatility makes him the one Avenger everyone can rally behind. Few fighters have mastered the art of war like Captain America.
While Captain America is an incredible fighter and has held his own against countless opponents, when it comes to the best fighter in the MCU it seems only right that the title goes to either Shang-Chi or Black Widow. Shang-Chi is a master of martial arts, trained in Ta Lo.
The amazing thing about the Hulk is that unlike nearly every other superhero ever created, the Hulk's strength has absolutely no upper limit. He can lift a commercial airplane – which weighs around 100 tons – when he is at his calmest; that's no problem for him.
Great Power. Like his namesake, Spider-Man's strength and agility stand far above those of the average human, allowing him to lift nearly ten tons and to leap and move at incredible speeds with high accuracy.
But after the release of WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it's pretty clear that the Scarlet Witch is among the most powerful. Wanda Maximoff has never truly been defeated, only "losing" to the combined forces of Doctor Strange, Wong, and America Chavez after realizing the error in her ways.
By far, of all the characters, Shang-Chi is number one in the Top 10 Best Fighters in Marvel Comics list. Unlike many other martial artists, Shang-Chi is a Grandmaster. If you don't know what that means, understand that it means he wins way more battles than he loses.
There is no way Shang-Chi is winning. Thor is way too strong and durable.
Daredevil is one of Marvel's most skilled hand-to-hand fighters, earning him the respect of heroes such as Captain America, and Matt's encounter with U.S. Agent has even confirmed that he could successfully take down the super soldier if he ever tried.
Captain America
He would never stay down and was always ready to face unbeatable odds if there was a chance he could save the day.
It's not hard to see that among all the Avengers, T'Challa is the smartest one. In his own family though, T'Challa will always be second to his extremely intelligent sister, Shuri (Letitia Wright).
While Quicksilver is often thought of as the fastest of the Avengers, one hero fans know from the movies can actually outrace him when they need to. Many heroes possess enhanced speed, but Pietro Maximoff is generally considered Earth's fastest man (at least in Marvel Continuity).
Colossus' incredible strength class is 100+, which means he can consistently lift above 100 tons. Colossus' most ridiculous feats in the comics further prove his elevated strength class.
According to his official Marvel page, Spider-Man is capable of lifting up to ten tons, and that means that he is a lot stronger than some of the other characters that have peak-human strength. However, Spider-Man's strength pales in comparison to the likes of Thor and the Hulk.
While Thanos is an Eternal and has the standard powers of super-strength, agility, regeneration, immortality, and more, Adam Warlock takes the upper hand. He can be killed, but he resurrects to be stronger every time.
Thor is great at close-range combat, too, which is one of Wanda's weak points. Captain Marvel and Captain Carter were able to get in a few blows before succumbing to the Scarlet Witch, and that is because they got close enough to her to do it.
In 2019's Avengers: Endgame, however, Wanda faces off against Thanos for a second time and nearly kills him all on her own. She brings the Mad Titan so close to death that he's forced to order... Now, having fully embraced her power as a witch and practitioner of chaos magic, it's clear - Wanda would destroy Thanos.
Beyonder is, by far, the most powerful villain in the Marvel universe. He can manipulate and control matter, energy, and reality at a cosmic level beyond far greater than what other cosmic entities can do.
