In the comics, Zeus was depicted as a mentor to a young Thor. Out of the respect and friendship between Zeus and Thor's father, Odin, the two shared a deep friendship. Once Odin died, Zeus acted as a father figure and advisor. The film depicts the two at odds, with them trying to kill each other.
Thor is the son of Odin, the god of wisdom, poetry, healing, and death. Odin is also known as being the ruler of the gods. Thor's mother is Jord, the personification of earth.
“The mighty Thor, warrior god of thunder, ranked as the second most important Norse deity.” Zeus is ranked higher than Thor because of Zeus as a King while Thor is a prince. They have other powers other than lightning as well. Zeus has the powers other than the rest I said earlier are storms and thunder.
Since Thor is Zeus' uncle, can he put Zeus on time-out? As of recently, Thor has become the Herald of Thunder and has ascended to a level beyond Odin.
In the theatrical cut of Love and Thunder, Zeus does not elect to help Thor in any way and tries to imprison the hero and his allies within Omnipotence City. Thor and his allies resist, however, and the God of Thunder impales Zeus with his own Thunderbolt before Valkyrie steals it to help in the battle against Gorr.

Zeus is the king of Olympus. He refused to help Thor by giving the army of gods after hearing Gorr was slaughtering the low-ranking gods. As Thor defied him, Zeus sends his guards to kill Thor and his allies, however Thor got his lightning bolt and threw it at him, presumably killing him.
It should come as no surprise that, in a one-on-one battle of Zeus vs Thor, Zeus would easily triumph.
Who is older, Zeus or Odin? Since Odin is credited with having a hand in creating the world itself, it is safe to say that he is older than Zeus. However, the first written accounts of Zeus are much earlier than the first ones we have of Odin.
Odin and Zeus are two of the strongest beings in Marvel Comics, and it's hard to say definitively which one is greater than the other. Either way, the difference between their powers doesn't seem to be significant (if there is one at all). Also, other cosmic figures have regarded them as equals.
Why is Zeus the strongest god? Zeus is the strongest of the gods in the Ancient Greek religion because he has both power and intelligence. He is able to ensure that he is not replaced by another, more powerful deity.
Zeus is uninterested in helping. Thor then kills Zeus using Zeus' own thunderbolt, which (frankly) feels like a bit of an overreaction. Yes, Zeus had him handcuffed, but killing him? Well, Zeus' death doesn't need to weigh on Thor's conscious because it turns out that Zeus somehow survived.
Unlike the others, Zeus is not worthy to lift Mjolnir, but through a loophole, he can anyway. If Mjolnir is to enter his domain, Zeus's MCU powers should override Odin's enchantment, meaning he can hold Mjolnir. He may not be worthy, but technically Zeus is the fifth character who can lift Mjolnir in the MCU's Phase 4.

Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
Before the creation of the world, Búri, the forefather of the gods, appeared out of the ice, and his son Borr and the giant-daughter Bestla sired Odin and his brothers (usually named Vili and Vé).
However, Zeus was afraid of Nyx, the goddess of night.

Russell Crowe portrays Zeus in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). This version is a hedonistic and self-centered individual who cares more about his orgies and serves as the leader of a corrupt Council of Godheads in Omnipotent City that preside over the gods from other pantheons.
Zeus was confirmed to be apart of the MCU in the newest Marvel movie still in theatres today. As long as Thanos doesn't disturb Zeus' possessions of his, nor kill his more personally close gods he would not intervene as he simply does not care for mortal deaths or gods that he does not have a close relationship with.
