Film. Frances Barrison appears in the live-action Sony's Spider-Man Universe film
Shriek is an antagonist from Marvel Comics. She is a major enemy of Spider-Man and also the girlfriend and "wife" of Carnage.
Frances Louise Barrison, also known as Shriek, was the girlfriend turned wife of deranged serial killer Cletus Kasady and a former inmate at Ravencroft.
She even briefly bonded with a fragment of the Carnage symbiote and gained new powers, though that symbiote quickly found a different home in Dr. Nieves, spawning a new symbiote character named Scorn. Shriek's love for Carnage ultimately proved to be her undoing.
Carnage ultimately leaves Peter's body and is re-absorbed by Harry Osborn who turns into Venom. The second version appears in season four, Ultimate Spider-Man vs.
Powers and abilities
Being a mutant and following exposure to Cloak's Dimension, Shriek has the ability to manipulate sound in a number of elaborate ways. She can harness it for destructive concussive force or use it to disorient and agitate her enemies.
Likely stemming from his loneliness in prison, Cletus desired Eddie's friendship to make his separation from Shriek (his lover) bearable.
Shriek, in the pages of Marvel Comics, is the girlfriend of Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage, who will be played by Woody Harrellson in the sequel. Harrellson made a cameo appearance during a post-credit scene in the first Venom.
During the last interview with Brock, Kasady started mocking the reporter by wishing him a heartbreak for uncovering his secrets. Venom wasn't satisfied with his actions and attacked the prisoner, which resulted in Cletus bitting Eddie's hand. Right after the bite, Carnage was born and bonded with its host.
She-Venom (Anne Weying) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is the ex-wife of Eddie Brock. She is the first character who goes by the She-Venom identity, and she is also colloquially referred to as the Bride of Venom.
Carnage was once a serial killer known as Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote called Venom during a prison breakout.
While in prison, Venom produces an offspring named Carnage. (He reproduces asexually, in case you were wondering.) Venom doesn't tell Eddie about it, and Venom and Eddie escape prison. Once they're gone, Carnage bonds with Cletus.
After a massive showdown at the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Venom defeats Carnage and eats him - but some viewers have wondered if the consumption will have any impact on Venom's strength. Comic book enthusiasts were clamoring for the on-screen face-off between the symbiotes, and the movie didn't disappoint.
The original Carnage symbiote was the first offspring of the Venom symbiote, spawned when it broke Eddie Brock out of prison. The newborn symbiote bonded to serial killer Cletus Kasady, merging with his blood to become nigh-inseparable from him, and Carnage was born.
For example, Venom gave birth to seven "children", and its first child Carnage had three.
The Donna Diego incarnation of Scream, referred simply as "Female symbiote", was featured in Marvel's comic book trading cards in the 1990s. The Donna Diego incarnation of Scream was featured in OverPower' "Mission: Separation Anxiety" series.
In the movie, we know her primarily by her actual name, Frances Barrison. But in the comics, she's known by something a bit more terrifying: Shriek. In “Venom 2,” Frances, played by Naomie Harris, is introduced as a childhood friend and love interest of Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson).
As Venom picked the utterly defeated serial killer up, Cletus admitted that while he was a killer with or without the symbiote and that he really desired Eddie's friendship.
The Carnage symbiote was defeated and apparently destroyed with sonic weaponry, but unbeknownst to them the symbiote's deeper equilibrium with its host helped to save it. After entering Kasady's body through a small cut, it bonded to his blood (which caused its red coloration).
Cletus was enraged upon learning that Eddie's exposé had gotten him sentenced for execution and Eddie was his first target after he bonded with Carnage. Eddie was also remorseful for the way he hurt Cletus, as he apologized to him in the climax for disregarding his inner pain.
The son of Carnage, Toxin, was believed to be the most powerful symbiote ever created. The raw power of Toxin was so great that he was feared even by the King in Black, Knull, creator and leader of the symbiotes.
As the fight with Venom reached the bell tower, Venom manages to rescue Anne in time and provokes Shriek to use her powers again; her sonic blast causes both symbiotes to separate from their hosts, but then Shriek falls to her death below as her scream dislodged the bell and crushes her.
Because the symbiotes are sensitive to sound — and Shriek's ability is shrieking violently — she becomes a hindrance to Carnage. That creates a divide between Carnage and his host Cletus, who loves Shriek and doesn't want her to get hurt.
