It's not a doorway to Eternity, even though it works as one on Love and Thunder. And Thor only realizes in Love and Thunder what Gorr intends to do when Zeus (Russell Crowe) tells everyone that Gorr will not reach Eternity. Therefore, Thor couldn't have known what he had on his hands after the Infinity War disaster.
What did Jane Foster whisper in Thor's ear? The catchphrase that Jane used out loud earlier in the film was, “eat my hammer”.
That's what Odin said in the first Thor when he cast his son out of Asgard. Before Thor could lift Mjolnir again, he had to first prove himself worthy by helping Jane Foster and the people of Earth. And since then we've learned that only people who are truly “worthy” can lift Mjolnir.
Thor found himself unable to accept Foster's death, so, with the help of Odin, used the power of the God Tempest that was contained in the destroyed Mjolnir to bring Jane back to life. After getting a new lease on life, Jane focussed on chemotherapy to treat her cancer, now that Mjolnir had been destroyed.
However, the film also implies that the hammer only sees Jane as worthy because Thor unintentionally revised the rules of Mjölnir, giving it the power to protect her. Captain America didn't need anything special for the hammer to see him as worthy – he's able to wield it without issue in Avengers: Endgame.
Who Plays Love? Gorr's daughter is played by India Rose Hemsworth, the daughter of Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, and actress Elsa Pataky.
In a moment of wistful affection for his girlfriend, Thor asked his trusty hammer to always protect Jane, and in doing so unwittingly enchanted Mjolnir to do just that. Just like Thor's father Odin once enchanted the hammer to only be lifted by someone who is worthy, Thor cast a spell that let Jane use its powers.
During the battle, Brigid finally proved herself worthy of Mjölnir and became Thor, something MCU fans might predict happens to Love in live-action.
A happy-go-lucky, ABBA-soundtracked montage, the scene features Thor making Mjolnir promise that it will always protect Jane, no matter what — even if it means coming back from the “dead” after being smashed to pieces by his villainous sister Hela.
Gorr's Daughter Love is Chris Hemsworth's Real-Life Daughter
In the film, Love is Gorr's daughter, who dies in vain on a barren desert planet in the midst of an environmental catastrophe. When Gorr finds his god living in luxury while he suffers, he vows to kill all gods by using a wish from Eternity.
In the comics, Jane hesitates at the gates of Valhalla, not wanting her life to be over yet, until Thor and Odin combine forces to revive her. With a second chance at life, Jane makes her cancer treatments a priority, and goes back and heals up while Odinson takes up Mjolnir and becomes Thor again.
Breast Cancer: Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer. She later accepted Thor's invitation to represent Midgard in the Congress of Worlds on Asgardia while she underwent therapy, but refused magical treatments.
Thor, The Unworthy
But Nick Fury, always prepared, had a way to take out the do-gooders. In the case of Thor, all it took was a whisper of the simple phrase, “Gorr was right.” After hearing this, Thor was unable to wield Mjolnir. He was rendered unworthy, because in his heart he believed what Fury said was true.
While the two leave Eternity, Eternity's mark is still seen in Gorr's daughter, Love (India Rose Hemsworth). She is not only the daughter of Gorr, but also technically a daughter of Eternity.
Even more people don't know the hammer has a name. During Marvel Comics Original Sin story-line we saw Thor Odinson become unworthy to wield the hammer. During a fight, Nick Fury was able to utter a simple sentence in Thor's ear. Whatever was said to Thor caused him to be unworthy to wield Mjolnir.
Cosmic Energy Manipulation: Due to being revived by Eternity, Love has been bestowed with the ability to manipulate cosmic energy. Optic Blasts: Love is able to project powerful cosmic blasts from her eyes.
Powers and Abilities
As Thor's firstborn and strongest child, Magni was a very powerful Aesir, with only his grandfather Odin, father Thor, uncles Týr, Heimdall and Baldur surpassing him.
Hela Is Simply More Powerful Than Mjolnir
We know Thor wasn't as powerful as the older and more experienced Hela, which is why Mjolnir still felt like it was superior to him. But Hela made the hammer seem inferior, suggesting she might have stopped Mjolnir, held it, and then shattered it with her raw strength.
One possibility is the simplest one available, which would hinge on the rules put on the hammer by Odin's enchantment, which are “Whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” Jane was able to take Thor's place in the comics because she became worthy enough to wield Mjolnir, so if the ...
Mjolnir is a hammer, and was enchanted by Thor's father, Odin, so that only those the hammer deemed "worthy" are capable of wielding or even lifting it. Stormbreaker is an axe, and although it does not have such a worthiness enchantment, its power is such that a mere mortal attempting to wield it would be driven mad.
No longer under the corrupting influence of the god-killing Necrosword, the repentant God-butcher chooses to use his dying wish to resurrect his young daughter who died in the film's opening scenes, on condition Thor promises to look after her. The girl comes back to life, and Thor keeps his promise.
“When did we become the joke?” Zeus says. “They will fear us again when Thor Odinson falls from the sky.” Hellbent on revenge, the lightning god bestows his son Hercules with the task of taking on Thor — cut to the big reveal of Hercules himself, played by Ted Lasso Emmy winner Brett Goldstein.

Originally there was no restriction placed on the hammer for who can use it but after Thor's reckless behavior, Odin Borson placed an enchantment on it. This spell read "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Only those deemed worthy to lift Mjolnir can.
